Squeeze the crap out of it with a pair of needle-nosed pliers, and pop the pimple. The thorn will come out with the white blood cells.
And I was sleeping (and am about to be sleeping) b/c I was informed that I need to be up at o-dark-30 tomorrow to drive around and take pictures of our neighborhood. I hate homeowner associations. I will NEVER live in one again.

Go to the dr. Have them pop it after they give you a little local to numb the pain. That an they\'ll give you some antibiotics to take care of the infection you have going on there!

And for the pleasure of doing exactly what she could do with an x-acto razor and a little bit of rubbing alcohol... They will charge her about $90. They don\'t use local anesthetics on lancing a sore. Trust me on this one, I went the first time too, and saw (and felt) exactly what they did. And I never used the scrip for the penicillin pills, didn\'t need them. I healed up just fine. Unless you have a weak immune system, for something like this, you are fine with just draining it and keeping it clean.

Its not a huge infection. Its really the size of a pin head...Im just a weenie when it comes to pain. :\\ I popped it a little last night...I just havent gotten the splinter/thorn out yet.

About cancer, have any of you spent the last night with someone that has died with it?
I did with my father, whom I and anyone that knew him, he was a man\'s man. Made John Wayne look like a younger brother. I have no idea why she would go on camera in that state. The pain that goes with the last stages is unbelievable. It makes one who knows think I won\'t go that way. I say I won\'t.

I haven\'t had to deal with the Big C like that, but I know that I don\'t want to be hooked up to machines at all. No Terry Shiavo for me, thanks. I\'d rather see it coming (also something I\'m not really in favor of) than waste away slowly in pain.
