Had Ford customer service manager on the phone for an hour yesterday. He was digging through the paperwork on his end and said, that everything is installed, including the sensors that detect the foot swipes underneath, with the only thing missing is this module/chip to make it operational. I told him that i was told when this module becomes available, Lincoln will install it free of charge when taking possession of the vehicle, regardless of the $70 delete credit shown on the window sticker and we been waiting....Why would they install sensors and whatever else if they never intended to install the missing module. He said he'll check into it and get back to me as he gave me a case #.Hi Pete. There really isn't anything to "fix" as that is the way it is now manufactured. I did post in another thread that a member of the Ford Explorer forum was able to get his to work after buying some parts and using FORScan. There is nothing coming from Ford to my knowledge. It is what it is.
