- 2006 Lincoln Town Car Palm Beach Edition
I drove my new to me 2006 Lincoln Town Car Palm Beach Edition car home yesterday ,it was an eight hour drive.
The first half of the drive I was cruising at 75 mph,or 120 kph,and it’s a very hilly road, and I kicked it down a couple of times.
She got 22 US mpg,or 26 Imperial mpg, which I thought was pretty good for a 4400 lb car.
It’s not 100 % perfect,there are a couple of minor issues.
I noticed that when you turn the heated mirrors on,the radio turns to static and you can’t hear it.
The selector switch for the remote mirrors seems to be getting worn when you go to adjust the right side mirror. It still works, but doesn’t feel quite right.
And some of the under hood insulation has been chewed, probably by a rodent, the gentleman I bought it from said it was like that when he bought it.
He added a true dual exhaust and a fresh air intake.
