Gas tank fill and mileage estimate

I have a 25 Nautilus Hybrid and I noticed that when my tank is basically empty (warning on dash that I had 15 miles left) the fuel station pumps around 18 gallons into the Nautilus. I know that most cars have a "reserve" and the estimates are not perfect but do other have basically ~2 gallons in reserve even when empty? Also when you fill up, what is the estimated range you have left?

I've never gotten mine down that far, I usually fill up once I get to about 1/4 tank...........but when I fill up, I normally have around 600ish mile range. Of course, that all depends on fuel mileage, etc.

I generally fill my car when it reaches 100 kilometres to empty. (Canada). Complete fill is 65 Litres. In the spring summer I get on average 800 kilometres per tank.
Winter time now and I am getting appx 600 kilometres per tank.
I use the remote start 50% off the time in the morning only.

Mileage estimates are not that accurate. It depends mostly on what your most recent mileage was. I don’t let my tank get below 1/4.
