Thank you, I tried the bcm non asbuilt and my double horn honk when leaving the cabine was disabled already, How would I disable the double honk when leaving the vehicle when running with the keyfob be located. Appreciate your knowledge.
The honkl is disabled from the factory if the chirp is set instead. Youll have to find the other setting. Its in the BCM. Just gotta dig a bit deeper. Newer vehicles dont use the horn for those things anymore.

Ok, I finally bought the ODB2 usb scan tool. I have a '17 MKZ hybrid. Which vehicle spreadsheets would I go off of to make simple changes? Edge, F-150, is there one specific for the MKZ?

Thanks

Hi Chris109. The spreadsheet/spreadsheets which cover the Ford Fusion likely come the closest. There are also a few MKZ forums that have more MKZ-centric spreadsheets, which add items not covered on the Fusion spreadsheets.

I’m sure other members will also jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.

Check out the 2Gfusions.net site, theres a bunch of codes and 1 or 2 sheets there.

Not for everyone. I played with putting the climate controls on the bottom of the screen on the wife's Naut., fully functional.IMG_0336.webpIMG_0337.webpIMG_0338.webp

How did you do this? Can you give us a write up? What would you need to do if you wanted to remove it back to factory settings?

I stole this from a friends '23 Edge Titanium while disabling his A.S.S.. I've done two Nautilus's and one required an extra step, ours didn't. Ours is a Reserve II and the other was a Reserve I..Don't know if that mattered with APIM not as populated than ours??

Not knowing how your APIM is populated go with the one that worked for me first;

7DO-02-02 xxx2 xxxx xx--

If it works, reset module in FORScan.. Done.

If it doesn't work, put your original as built number back in, reset module again.

Now starting fresh again----7DO-02-03 xxxx xxx1 xx--, and then do the first one listed again, reset module. Done.

To put back to stock, obviously asbuilt.

I believe I had to do a module reset twice on the one that wasn't ours with the extra step for it to show on the screen. It's been a couple of months, lol.

Hope this helps-and your stock buttons still remain active as well as the touch screen ones

Very interested...Thanks!
Also, besides the ass & bambi, the few others you have mentioned...what are they? Have you programmed any of them?

First due the climate controls on screen, then we will go from there. Report back when you due,it if works or not. '23's didn't have hybrids, meaning yours correct? That would would be a different hex number. I forgot to ask. I wouldn't give out codes unless I'm using them or at least tried them out.

Steve_C, Have you had a chance to do this mod yet, or decided not too?

I did my neighbors BIL '21 last week , and was thinking about you. On that one I had to enter the two values mentioned above. Just wondering.

Steve_C --Glad I could give you the values for the mod back in May, NOT! Most people would have said something when I reached and ask how went, but not you.

I get it, some people just figure they are entitled and don't need to respond when asked direct questions from someone that was trying to set a mod up for you. Some people have another name for them.

I see why you were so eager for the other values on the other mods I mentioned, glad that didn't happen.

Wow tinner!
My most sincere and humble apologies!
I totally missed your May posting inquiring how I made out.
I just now saw your above posting, and I feel terrible about leaving you hanging. My bad.....!
As a supporting member of the forum, I recognize its importance to all Lincoln owners that use it.
Members like yourself that have much to contribute, and share their knowledge are why this forum is meaningful & important.
I agree, acknowledgement is a courtesy that should be given when a fellow member helps you out!
Again, please accept my apologies for not responding. No excuse, I should have responded even before your May inquiry.

That being said, I have not tried to perform the mod yet. I need to update my ForScan version for starters.
Since you originally posted the details, the other vehicles I tend to have needed ongoing attention to get them up to snuff to pass NYS emissions.
Other than an OFC change, a few washes and a wax job, I have not paid any mind to the Nautilus.
I hope I can count on you to "guide me through" should I need advice when ready to try one of the mods!

In closing, I hope you can forgive my oversight. If ever you are in the NYC/Metro area in your travels, let me know, beer on me! I sincerely mean that!
