Conservation is like a turtle shifting but aggressive mode is not a fun drive by wire transmission control. My foot barely touches the pedal and your head is getting jerked off its mount. On my Volvo V60 the dealer could use software to tune the transmission or is it a throttle position situation. Anyone know if it can be done on a Corsair. I need to get to the dealer and have them update software to turn off the annoying stop-start feature. I am GLAD to hear that the EPA has acknowledged that was a bad idea and new cars won't need that feature engaged.

I'm an old drive by cable guy and probably will never be satisfied and I think I've complained about every drive by wire car we've owned. My 2011 Honda CR-V is a cable, 4 speed and I feel in control.

They weren't able to disable the start/stop feature as of yet at my dealership, I'll be the first in line when they can.

When I bought the car, my dealer told me they could permanently disable it. I hope so because I find it to be annoying.

Just get

Thanks.

Wonder if anyone on the forum has installed one and how easy was it to install? I'm kind of at that age where crawling under the dash, being upside down is not kind to my body.

I feel ya on that. I got a 1 year old and im mid 30s. Im not built to be on the floor with him this much LOL. But anyway, my comment was supposed to say at least its only a one time event lol. If I recall correctly, its actually under the wireless charger on the newer models.

On 22 and older you just unplug the OBD diag port wiring harness and plug this in and the diag port harness plugs into the other end of this harness. I did it on my sisters 22 Corsair, 15 minutes. 23-26 is under the wireless charger. It you can't do it I'm sure you could pay any car alarm/radio install shop to do it.

I saw a vid and yes it is behind the OBD. If I can hunker down outside the door, reaching up under the dash it is an easy go for me. I remember on my Jaguar's I owned years ago I could work on the under the dash electric and heating issues without any thought....much younger back then. ;) For $99 I am probably going to give it a try. The auto stop is so annoying.
