Electrical issues

2013 MKZ Hybrid: Suddenly I have electrical issues, draining the car battery dead. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not with getting the recalls taken care of (powertrain control module, seat back) last Thursday along with replacing the passenger side mirror whose glass got broken. I suspect the dealer left the car in the rain causing water to get into the mirror...(it was supposed to have been fixed before the rain started, but it turned out they didn't have the part and had to keep the car overnight.) Hopefully that's just my paranoia. On Saturday, two days later, the alarm started to go off without cause, over and over again, if it were locked. I also got a warning about the adaptive headlinghts needing to be checked. Since I was done with my errands, I put the car in the garage...unlocked.... I figured I'd take the car in on Monday...but now it's Sunday, and the car is dead.

Bummer. Sounds like your dealer did something wrong. Hmmm. Where have I heard THAT before?

ibcarolek, By suddenly I take it that everything was going fine until this. Of course it all points to the dealership , I hope they will take the car in and make it right like they should. Let us know how this turns out. I have the same car, Jim
