Dynamic Handling Package Worth It?

I'm kinda in your camp VIN0770 - I don't want sophisticated systems and controls to purportedly improve on something that is already excellent for as you suggest - it just becomes another potential maintenance problem down the road. Our base (Reserve 1) 2022 suspension is silky smooth, quiet and very well balanced from a handling perspective.

I like the passive springs and shocks :) .

Well we now have 1400 miles on it and I can definitely say the ride is much smoother with the adaptive look ahead and air glide system. These Moonbeam seats and leg extenders are also way softer than the quilted pattern Alpine seat in the 2023 BL. So if you like more comfort in both the seat and suspension you’ll like the air glide option.

Maybe I’m a doomsday sayer, but when you add all those moving parts of the air glide system and all the extra chances of human error designing it, manufacturing it, assembling it, I’m definitely going to answer that spam phone call chasing me for an extended warranty at the end of four years. Just don’t see a good outcome in WI when it’s below zero for a week at a time and my underbody is coated in salt and it’s too cold to go through the wash.

You use to be able to pick the air glide option on the Black Label but now it’s just part of the package take it or leave it. As much as this new Special Edition combo is SO stunning and everything is currently working as advertised, it’s damn near a deal breaker if I had to do it over.
