Every now & then, when my window is open (Cracked) a bit & I hit the button up to close it, the window goes down, pretty fast too.
Intermittent so when I take it in to that dealership in 500 miles, I am sure they won't be able to replicate it.
Anyone ever had this happen?
Thanks.

Just like every electronic device today, there is a 'computer' driving it. Many times throughout the life of such items they need to be 'reset' since for whatever reason the software becomes confused. It almost sounds like your window thinks it's AT the top (vs near it) and they may have programmed a way to rapidly open when it gets confused. It may be what artificial ignorance calls the bounce-back function.

In any case, there's a protocol to reset it - I can't remember it, but when my door latched wigged out and my car lost it's battery - I had to reprogram all my windows to work again.

In any case, AI says:
Procedure to Reset a Window
  1. Lower the window: Press the switch to lower the window completely, and continue to hold the switch in the down position for a few seconds (e.g., 2 to 10 seconds).
  2. Raise the window: Immediately pull the switch up to raise the window all the way, and continue to hold the switch in the up position for a few seconds (e.g., 2 to 10 seconds) once it reaches its full travel.
  3. Test the auto function: Release the switch, then use the auto-up and auto-down functions to test that the window is now initialized and the bounce-back feature is working correctly.
If that doesn't work (because it's really for and Audi vs. you Lincoln - hence my inference of A Ignorance) - there are a plethora of youtube videos telling you how to reprogram. Try them and hopefully you'll be successful.
