I believe that cannot be accomplished from the vehicle's standard controls.Anyone know how to permanently put the Drive Mode on a specific setting without having to redo every startup?
Ok, just a thought. I’m trying to keep it in Conserve mode to appease she who must be obeyed. I like the sporty mode!I believe that cannot be accomplished from the vehicle's standard controls.
Some people venture into the internals using software tools that can modify settings in ways that the regular UI does not allow.
I do not know if what you seek can be configured using that approach.

Thank you! That is what I am finding out. Appreciate the response as alwaysOne of the biggest problems I have with this vehicle is that it won't remember the last mode I drove in. For that reason, like everyone else, every time I start the vehicle I have to put it back into my preferred mode.
This has been discussed previously and to date, no-one has found a way to keep the vehicle in one driving mode.
So does that mean when you’re driving alone, the car goes into Performance mode, even as you sneak through the drive through at Taco Bell?Ok, just a thought. I’m trying to keep it in Conserve mode to appease she who must be obeyed. I like the sporty mode!![]()
I think they do it so we have something to talk about here.
I know this is the forum for the Corsair but my 2020 Nautilus Reserve does stay in comfort mode every time unless I manually change it.Every vehicle that I have owned or driven will not stay with the last selected mode, on restart. I have not driven every vehicle.
I leave mine in Normal 99% of the time.
I see this is an old thread, I hope I can add on. Normal mode was the default for me until recently; somehow now the default is slippery mode and I cant see how it changed. Since I live in AZ, its not a good mode to default on.
Has anyone seen a way to change the default?

You did something by accident that the masses would like the answer to lmaoI see this is an old thread, I hope I can add on. I found the reason the drive mode was changed at start. The control module the drive mode knob is in, had a lot of debris in and around it.I will definitely update you all if I find something.
Thanks for the update ! Good to know.I found the reason the drive mode was changed at start. The control module the drive mode knob is in, had a lot of debris in and around it.
This did not short out the knob/module since its an optical trigger, the circuit board is shielded by the rubber membrane with the 4 button pads in it. I am really sorry I didnt video this or take pictures, I can talk someone through it no problem if you PM me. You dont have to remove the entire console to remove the module, its very difficult to remove if you dont at least take the wood panel out. There were no codes to indicate an issue, only that the drive mode is not in "normal" when starting.
My local dealer would not cover this part since it had evidence of spills, all it took was a little time to take it apart and clean everything
