Does the ACM differ between options?

My ACM died to the super loud crackle noise. It can’t even be detected my ForScan. Does the part number matter? I have the nav + thx ii option

Most modules are very specific in application.
Yes the part number is very important to get the correct application.
The number on the part is not a service part number. It is an engineering part number.
And if you get a module with the same engineering part number it is the same part. And it is possible multiple engineering numbers are all the same part number.
However the opposite is not true.
