Discontinuing the SecuriCode Keyless Entry Keypad?

Cannot count how many times I've used the keypad. I sorely miss it on my Mustang as it can't even be added on as accessory!!

I have never used it. I guess I will have to check it out.

That thing has saved me a number of times !! From going to my car parked blocks away to get a tool only to find out I left my keys back at the location. Also gone out to walk the dog late at night with no phone and no keys and no one home. Shut the front door and got locked out 😠😠 used the keypad to get into the car and get the casino card or keypad code card and able to get into the house with that !! No not telling you how lol. I don’t use it Brit when I’ve needed it it’s saved me many times.

Apparently It’s one of the most popular features on Ford vehicles.

Millions of Ford and Lincoln owners have used the feature. Demand is so strong that when Ford launched a vehicle without it, the company had to scramble to add it.

I love it!

This is just one of those things reasonably expected to be on a premium car. If I wanted an Escape, I'd get an Escape.
Just so you know, I believe this feature is also still available on Escapes.

I say "still", as I have owned both a 2014 and a 2015 Escape. they were great vehicles, far better than any class competition from foreign brands at the time.

We have the keypad on both the Corsair and our F150 and it is convienent when you want to go tot the gym, a hike or just grab something out of the cars. We had it on a older Escape as well and like how its hidden unless you touch it unlike the F150 where its clearly visible. I would miss the keypad if it wasnt there for sure.
