What is the most popular and best code reader out there for my 2006 Lincoln Town car. I just bought this car, it has 128k, and I would like to watch the problems it may be having. I want one that covers all codes engine as well as accessory codes. Thank you, JOHN HENRY

There are plenty of code readers in the $50-$150 range, but their coverage is limited to codes, some live data, and mainly PCM only. If you want something that covers ABS, Suspension, and other modules, you will have to spend BIG $$$$-----$2,000--$5,000.

I don't know much about scanners. But on another forum a guy was talking about a very inexpensive ELM327 dongle (bluetooth?) that you can plug in and with free Forscan software on a laptop (and maybe a smartphone?) you can read and program all sorts of stuff. The guy was able to disable the easy-in-easy-out seat feature with it. You might want to look into that.
