Defect in paint on Lincoln Aviator

Help! Has anyone had any issues with their paint peeling on their vehicle? I have a 2021 Lincoln Aviator in Ocean Drive blue, and the paint is peeling on the hood near the grill. I contacted my dealership to see if they knew of any other customers having the same issue, and they reported that they did not. Their answer was not satisfactory to me, especially when you purchase an expensive luxury SUV like the Aviator, and you get a "so sad, too bad" response! After reviewing my paperwork they informed me that my warranty on the paint for this vehicle had conveniently expired 3 months ago as well! So, I reached out to the Lincoln Owner's Customer Service number and they had started a claim for me. They instructed that I take my vehicle to the dealer, and have the service department inspect the area peeling, and then have them send pictures so they could review the area with the damage. After a few days, I received a call back stating that there were "no known defects in their paint" and that I was basically out of luck.
The dealership did quote me a price of over $3000.00 to strip and repaint the hood! Gee thanks! Honestly, I am not sure what I am going to do at this point, but I was curious if anyone else has heard of what I am dealing with?
