Hi, new guy and first time Lincoln owner here! I bought a '20 Corsair Reserve I in December and absolutely love it except for its sunroof issue. I saw another owner complaining about the wind noise problem at 50+ mph, but didn't see a solution. Has anyone had this problem and got it fixed? If so, what was the solution?

Also, the rear edge of my sunroof doesn't sit flush to the fixed panel when closed. It doesn't leak, but aesthetically I think it should lay flat. However my dealer says that it's supposed to be like that...? Does yours sit flush or is it slightly raised when closed?

Thanks!

For the wind noise …..have someone ride in the back and get up to like 60mph. Have them feel with their hand for air rushing in anywhere. Also……there was another thread on here with someone complaining about wind noise from the rear. It ended up being wind coming in from the vent in the back (there are two) the dealership spoke to Lincoln. It vents into the wheel well. Lincoln said a part can be ordered and ONE bent closed and that resolved their noise. Also…..be aware I myself went nuts with wind noise and it ended up being the sound of the air coming from the cooled seats. The air and motor is loud. Hope this helps let us know

Yes those cooled seats are loud too. Even thought this is better with the hood adjustment fix, time will tell if it’s sufficient.

Thanks Car Guy 28! your tip worked for me, i lowered the bump stops by turning clockwise to stop the hood bouncing. The Pass side stop was up a good 5/8” over the driver side. So i’ve stopped the hood bouncing and lowered the interior db to 65, which is much lower than the 72 it was.
You are welcome.

I have the 2022 Corsair with the Pano glass roof as well. Mine is totally quiet when closed, no wind noise, etc. When open the mesh wind screen pops up but the noise is normal and no louder or draftier then any other of the many moonroof equipped vehicles I’ve owned. I find it normal.
I was concerned at first, with the moonroof’s glass panel’s rear edge not sitting perfectly flush with roof’s opening rim when closed, but it doesn’t leak water or air at all. The glass panel appears that it is very slightly raised or bowed in the center. When closed the glass back edge sits about 1/16” or so above the roof opening rim. The front and sides of the glass sit perfectly flush. I haven’t asked the dealership service department yet as the car hasn’t been back in since new in February. Going on 5K miles and zero issues or problems with the car. Comfortable, smooth, quiet, excellent performance and handling, nice features, great car!
I recently had the car in to the dealer for its first service oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Great experience and a no cost visit, very nice. 7300 miles now and zero issues. The service advisor and I looked at a few other Corsairs and all the pano glass moonroofs close exactly like mine.

I just tested mine and found the pano roof when open is no louder than my 2016 Fusion with regular moon roof. The pop up front piece does add some slight wind noise but nothing annoying. I just crank up the tunes and enjoy the superb sound system.

Mine has the same problem not sitting flush. Dealer says factory issue

Mine has the same problem not sitting flush. Dealer says factory issue

Hi G-461050. Is that all the Dealer stated? Are they going to do anything to correct it?

That is a poor answer. Of course it is a "factory issue. And it is the job of the Dealership to correct a "factory issue" (or issues) if/when they occur. And if they can not correct it, then they should enlist the help of the Lincoln/Ford engineers.
If your Dealer is refusing to attempt to correct the issue, contact Lincoln Concierge and have a case opened.

Keep us updated and good luck.

2022 Corsair GT. I complained about the moving front half of the pano sitting a bit higher in the center next to the fixed rear panel. We looked at others on the lot. They varied from flush to where mine is and everywhere in between. Dealer said "normal."

On the aluminum hood. Mine came so tight it was almost impossible to close with a normal amount of force. I loosened up the two bumper/latches. It now closes with normal force but shimmies on the highway. Looks scary but hood hasn't flown off in 10,000 miles. Dealer said, "normal."
