Corsair Block Heater Recall

I have received two letters from Ford advising me there is a recall to replace the block heater and they will contact me again when the part is available so it can be replaced.
The interesting thing is, my vehicle does not have a block heater.

Anyone else have this happen?

I have a '22 GT. Nothing in the mail or email

Are you SURE it doesn't have a block heater? It is located under the hood. If you don't pop the hood you won't ever see it. I hate that its like this, my Nautilus has a block heater like I described above. My Ford Fusion does as well, but the block heater plug is in the driver side fog light readily accessible without any effort. Bad design IMHO.

Are you SURE it doesn't have a block heater? It is located under the hood. If you don't pop the hood you won't ever see it. Yes I am sure. My 2014 Escape Titanium had the block heater wiring and plug clipped in behind the left headlight. I bought this Lincoln 2nd hand and have the window sticker. The block heater is an option for about $350.00 and is not in the option list. Thanks for your reply. It will be interesting when Ford sends me the letter to book it in and the dealer finds no heater installed.
