Hi queen_valerie and welcome to the Linciln Forums.

First…Are you referring to a LincolnProtect ESP, which is an extended warranty plan? If yes, which tier/level plan do you have?
Or are you referring to a LincolnCare Service Plan, which covers routine and/or wear and tear maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, wipers etc.? If yes…again, which tier/level plan is it?
Or do you have some other third party/aftermarket type of plan?

Next, what vehicle and model year do you have? And what is the current mileage? And did you purchase new or used?

Next…exactly what type of service work was performed?

Essentially, more information is needed in order to determine if the work you had performed is covered by the type of plan you have.

Get back to us with more information and I’m sure we very one will try to help.

Good luck.

I have the Lincoln Protect continued Service Plan. I have a MKS 2015. It has 145,050. miles.. in need of front tire rods, front lower control arm, and ft stabilizer . I purchased the car new. I am told the work should be covered in full with just a deductible... It seems that I will be charged an up-charge in addition to the deductible if I proceed with the service. Is this the norm for a Lincoln plan?

Lincoln Continued Service plan

Action

Hi Action. Thanks for the link. So it seems to be an extended warranty plan for Powertrain related issues. Which would make it similar to the base tier LincolnProtect ESP Plan (unless it is actually a renamed replacement?).

Hopefully the OP will still post back with the information concerning what type of work was performed, why coverage was denied on some of the services etc.

queen_valerie, post back with what services were performed, what was covered, what was denied, and what reason was given by the dealership as to why coverage was denied on $1,300 of service.

Good luck.

That site is a lil strange to me.

The web address does not have "lincoln.com" in it
The copyright date is 2024 not 2025
The link to "Terms and Policies" and "Privacy Policy" is dead
The only thing the site has of value is a phone number and a page to enter personal data.
The coverage is called Continued Service Plan not Extended Service Plan. ON the Lincoln Website there is a Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plan

It may be legit. Just not sure.

Hi Action. Yes, I agree. That’s why I’m hoping queen_valerie posts back with more information.

Seems legit, but skimming the “Lincoln Continued Service” site leads me to believe it likely offers less overall coverage than the LincolnProtect ESP plans offered for purchase during the 4 year/50,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty period. Even the base LincolnProtect Powertrain plan.

Which may answer the question of why certain services were not covered, but there’s just too little information at this point.

Good luck. 🍻

When the CPO warranty on my MKX was about to expire, Lincoln called me to offer the CSP. I declined due to the cost. That was 31 months ago, and I haven’t spent a penny on repairs since.
