My Lincoln
2025 Nautilus Hybrid
Completely flat battery overnight on 2025 Nautilus Reserve III Hybrid. It happened 3 times in the past week. I have had the car for 1 month. Unfortunately, I live 900 kilometres from a Lincoln dealer. Does anyone have any suggestions for anything I can troubleshoot myself

Are you near any Ford dealer?

Yes. there is a Ford Dealer an Hour away
Ford can service your car too. The delivered new-car batteries on these cars have been bad for many of us and we’ve had to have them replaced. Make sure you do not store your key fobs near the car. I would use a Faraday box to store them or store them at least 20 feet away.

Okay. Thanks. Does using the Lincoln App affect the battery

Hi NALA9835. Yes, using the Lincoln app can affect the battery.

If you use the app to check tire pressures, lock/unlock, use the vehicle location feature etc., it wakes/activates the vehicle modem and any systems necessary to perform the requested action.

That being said, it uses minimal battery power to do so, and assuming a properly operating vehicle, the systems deactivate after a minimal amount of time. So unless we constantly play with the app, it should not have a major affect on battery state of charge/health.

As others mentioned above, you can use a Ford dealer for warranty service. Just remember they are not obligated to provide Lincoln only perks, such Complementary Loaner vehicles, after service car washes etc.

I’m sure others will also jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.

If you have the "nearby devices" enabled a a permission in phone app (at least with Android), it will connect to vehicle via bluetooth whenever in range. A key symbol appears on status bar. I keep approach detection disabled so phone and fob do not initiate the light show.

My battery started to drain after one of the larger OTA updates. Turned out the update failed partially and a module was not going to sleep. The dealer re-installed all the updates and the battery charge is now fine again even after a week without driving.
