Charging System (Red Battery Symbol) Light Is On

You replaced the alternator. Diagnosis is needed from here.
"Every light on this car is on." does not make sense.
When the engine is running or engine off?
Key off too?
Every light, like the trunk light, emergency flashers, glove box light, head lights too?
Please get more specific.

Now test the charging system and battery.
The battery with a load test.
The charging system for output.
In addition to that pull codes and post that.

The battery is 1 year old - expensive 900+ cold cranking amps. Specifically, I mean all interior and visible exterior lighting was on. I did not open the trunk and glove box or look at the dashboard to see if those lights were on. I opened the door to the garage and noticed the interior dome/door-courtesy lights and headlights were all on — No key or engine applied; no emergency lights. I had to recharge the battery for 3 hours with my battery charger to restore it. The light switch was always in the “Auto on/off” position until yesterday as I suspect that to be the culprit. So, out of an abundance of caution, I chose to switch the light switch to the “off” position until I can figure this out. Also, Autozone said no error codes are triggered for this type situation— codes are only generated for engine related issues? Idk — you guys are the experts. If you can guide me how to pull codes, then please share. Thanks
