My Lincoln
2024 Aviator
I just changed the front brakes and rotors on a 24 Aviator. Now service brake lights are on. How do I get them reset?
Thanks

Can't you hook up to a scan tool to reset/clear any warning lights? With the hopes it was just a blip and not something lingering. Just curious, was this brake change done as a necessity, or as an upgrade?

It was a necessity. We did hook up a scan tool and there wasn’t any codes. I took it to dealership and they had to replace EBB. Electronic brake booster

IMHO coincidences don't happen in life - not in terms of working on vehicles. Who did the brake job? I've not done mine yet, but I highly doubt there's anything that can be done while changing brakes to throw codes - in other words the person doing the job may have inadvertently damaged the booster (can't imagine how).

Out of curiosity, how many miles were on the car when replaced?
