- 2024 Lincoln Nautilus reserve 3
What's your thoughts on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus getting the update? Any chance of it happening?

Don’t expect anything for the 2024. It is obvious Lincoln is punishing 2024 buyers. I say this because there are know issues that are almost 2 years old with with no fixes in sightWhat's your thoughts on the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus getting the update? Any chance of it happening?
I have a 2025, so this might be a bit different. Some of the people who Cruise Blue quite often have noted that the 'Software 11' patch we received late summer appears to have affected BlueCruise behavior, (generally for the better). Is it possible this was an upgrade from 1.2 to 1.x?
This is the correct answer. The BlueCruise 1.5 update for the 2026 Nautilus (which includes automatic lane change capability) is dependent on newer hardware that is built into the car and cannot be retrofitted for 2024 and 2025 models.I believe I also remember someone saying that the newer version of Blue Cruise is a hardware difference and not simply software, making the upgrade path impossible for 2024 and 2025 Nautili.
One of the reasons we choose to lease technology-mobiles for the past 3 lease/puchase cycles. They hype up the OTA capabilities on the 24 release and never talk about the hardware limitations of each year. The only real value to OTA is a too slow trickle of fixes to the limited Q&A testing performed prior to release. This is the correct answer. I understand that the older models cannot get 1.5, but the older models were shipped with 1.2 (at least, the '24s were). They're 3 versions back. This is the correct answer. I have lost faith in Ford and at this point I don't expect any fixes much less any improvementsI am not optimistic given all the other software bugs. The most important customer set is the leasers since they decide at end of lease to switch or continue. If it takes 3 years to see the update, the current leaser will not likely be as satisfied,
They still need to fix the stability issues (what we called hardening at work) where updates do not break functions. My recent case was when they updated my door software and when I started to go home the car started in remote start mode and took some reboots to restore normal operation.
