Hello Everyone!
I am a fairly handy DIY type and have the desire/need to keep a CB in my car. While I generally don't mind tinkering, I draw the line at the interior parts of my precious 2002 Continental- I know my limits and I will never make it look right again if I get to cutting and filing. I have not yet been able to find a good mount sight. My car shifts from the column, so I currently have the cup holder ash/change tray drawer closed to make room for a hump mount on the floor. This interferes with my morning caffeine fix and looks messy. I have been eyeballing the "cubby" beneath the stereo (I found the climate/stereo bezels pretty cheap on ebay) though this would require some cutting. My other thought was to purchase a single din sized stereo and place a close-to-din sized cb beneath it.
Before I make my interior look like a landfill I have a simple request for those on the forum-
Has anyone cleanly mounted a cb in a continental? I have been unable find resources on the net for this. If anyone has a radio mounted, I'd kill to see some pics!
