My Lincoln
2023 Corsair
2023 Reserve 23K miles. I was driving my car on the freeway a few weeks ago and it seemed like I was hearing more road noise than I did when my vehicle was newer. It almost sounds as if I need an alignment or have a tire going bad, but there is no noticeable vibration in the steering wheel. To be honest, I’m not sure if this is my mind playing tricks on me. I had all the tires checked and rotated and didn’t seem to make much of a difference. I noticed the noise, regardless of my speed and even when driving on new road surfaces. Has anyone had a similar experience or is this just my old brain playing tricks on me?

Is this a sudden change or gradual and you just noticed it? Tires get noisy/transmit more road noise as they get older. Vehicles I've owned in the past are suddenly quieter when I get new tires... until my brain/ears get used to the new sound level anyway. This is especially true if you get tires with good reviews for low noise.

I'm up to 17k miles, 2023 GT III.

I've no idea whether noise level had changed but I've always thought it is far noisier than it should have been given the Lincoln commercials and i thought having active noise suppression would mean quiet similar to putting on my noise suppression head phones but no way.

A noise meter would be the only way to determine for sure but I'm not aware of a noise spec from Lincoln.
