My Lincoln
2006 Lincoln Town Car Palm Beach Edition
Hey everybody
I found a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Palm Beach Edition for sale yesterday.
I’m going for an 8 hour drive Monday to pick it up.
This will be my first Lincoln and it is a beauty.
I will be the third owner and it was bought new in Florida.

Welcome and remember if they tell you work has been done to it don't believe them unless they come with receipts.
Get a carfax to guide you on any possible problems like liens, previous vehicle damage, salvage title, etc

Palm Beach Edition?

Yeah, I had to google that.

Apparently a dealer add-on, similar to the 'Presidential' edition you see now and then. Check closely for any evidence of corrosion under the faux top or around the edges.

Best of luck with the new Lincoln. (y)

Apparently it also has aftermarket wheels and headlights,a cold air intake, dual exhaust and it’s been chipped .
The owners son did a FaceTime walk around with me the other day and it looks to be in exceptionally good condition.
No sign of rust anywhere.
The engine compartment is spotless,as is the trunk and he said that the backseat has never been sat in.
They had it on the hoist and he says that underneath is just as clean as the top.
It’s got just over 50,000 miles and the price is within my budget.
I was looking at 5th gen Mustang convertible’s,and they are double the price with more miles on them.

Well, today is the big day,we are going for a 8+ hour road trip to pick up my new to me Lincoln.
I’ve got all my paperwork and permits and insurance to get home,
Then I’ll have to go to the local DMV office and transfer it over to my name, and I have 30 days to do that.
I’ll have pictures and a report on how it works on the way home tomorrow.
