If the BCM (Or any electronic module) is an issue the check engine light will be on and a DT (Diagnostic Trouble) code will be generated.
Pulling those codes no matter what and post.
However, the BCM does not control the fuel system or your fuel pump.
The fuel pump is part of the power train and would be controlled by the PCM if there was control.
For 2002 the fuel system is a return type system. Controlled by a fuel pressure regulator. Which means the fuel pump runs full on and supplies more fuel that the engine will ever need.
Check the inertia switch for being tripped. Typically, behind the right kick panel. Or the owner's manual will show location.
Check the fuel pump relay in the battery junction box..
