Blue cruise

My dad has 2024 navigator blue cruise issue. I first drove the car with 1000 miles on it and tested the blue cruise at night on way to Atlanta. Three times with cruise set just under 80 so I don’t have to hold the wheel the car access to 90 mph all by itself and have to deactivate it and reset the speed. Anyone else have this issue I feel like it’s the nav. Software and or sign recognition but the nav should have first priority over sign recognition. Car should never default to higher speed !!! ??

I have noticed that the sign recognition can be off depending when the last Google maps were done. I drive thru an old construction zone that when I drive thru it now that it still registers the construction speed and not the original speed limit. It all depends on the Google mapping and how up to date the map is.
