Blown pass side brake line

brake line recall lead to nationwide shortage. Penske Ford,Lincoln. In San Diego was not knowledgeable about recall. went to off-road wherehouse and got 16” braided lines, ordered 10mm banjo fittings and 3an brake line adapters all for 80.00. 4 months later they called saying parts were in. Would they have paid all that money out on a rental car? More than 80.00 I know that, joke

I think all car mfrs love the worldwide shortage. Seems like were going back to the highly profitable pre-order, mostly expensive cars, similar to pre-1920's (before Ford model T cars forced all car prices lower). I don't think we'll ever see huge inventories at new car lots again. We'll have to wait a month or so for delivery.
