Battery being trained radio stays on, lights on window switches stay on 90k miles

Sit in the vehicle and let it idle with all doors closed. Does the door ajar light appear on the dash? If so, then you have door jamb switch issues

Has anyone ever tried a door jamb switch from autozone ?

The door ajar light doesn’t appear on the dash. So get a door jamb switch do you recommend new or used?

If the message does not appear on your dash then you do not need to replace any door jamb switches.

Have you peeled back the rubber boot in the door jamb to make sure all the wires are intact and not broken? They can get broken over time, I've had that issue in the past (not with my Town Car though).

Hard to see the instrument cluster in that video. You SHOULD HAVE the door ajar light on the cluster with that door open and it should go off with the door closed

So I noticed on these parts the starting number is different mines starts with 4WIT and eBay one is 3WIT anyone know if that matters?

Yes it does. If you get a different number it won't work.

The e bay seller I went through sent me the 3WIT
One by accident. Had to send it back. Luckily he had the correct one and sent it with out waiting for the return. I really didn't want to put the door back together just to take apart again.

Also before you put it in write down the keyless code it will be printed on the DDM. You will have to reprogram your keyless entry code. Plus you will have to reprogram your remotes.
