My Lincoln
2023 Aviator Reserve
I was searching to see if they make power runningboards either from Lincoln or aftermarket for the aviator and I can’t seem to find them… I’m surprised because it is a luxury car that I would think that would be an option. Does anybody know if anyone makes those?

Have you checked or searched for any that fit the Explorer? I did a quick search and did see some out there for that vehicle.

I installed the Lincoln brand running boards on my vehicle, and they barely stick out when the doors are closed. There's a lot of room to step on when the doors are open. They also keep stones and other road debris off the side.

I like mine too on our 2023 Aviator. Wife need them.

We have only seen Lincoln running boards for the Navigator.
Which year Aviator?

Dealership installed them before I took delivery. Not powered.
Mine is a 2023. I have the lincoln oem running boards and they fit and work well. I do have an entrance light that shines before you open the doors also. They both work well with entering the vehicle.

If you live in the north and your Aviator will be outside (be it at home or work), I would strongly recommend against power running boards on any vehicle.

Had them on my 2010 Platnum Escalade. Loved the feature…until winter. Each year they would get frozen and bound up. After I think year 6 or maybe 7, stopped working altogether. The replacement and fix was $2k per running board. No thank you. They remained in the up position until 2020 when I traded it in on my BMW X3.

Now if I lived in an area that didn’t see harsh snow and ice conditions, it is a great feature on luxury SUV’s. Otherwise, traditional non-running board are simply more practical for a harsher seasonal environment.
