Replaced evaporator core due to a hole from an acorn, replaced orifice restrictor and some o-rings a few days ago. Evacuated system ,vacuum tested and recharged AC. Today while it got up to 91 degrees with thermometer in center vent it was down to 39-40 degrees,I am very happy with my AC repair since it's been many years that I did one.

Did you charge by weight? I have lots of AC experience and do it by the book, but my '07 just won't get down below 50 F. When it's 100+ outside, I'm lucky if it's blowing 60 F at center vent. A few years ago, I replaced the evap and condenser cores (both leaking when I bought the car), receiver drier, compressor, orifice tube (Motorcraft orange), and all o-rings. It has no refrigerant leaks.

I only put 2 cans,I know I only was to put 23 oz but I I figured it would not be 100% full cans.

What were the pressures after the job was done.
With ambients over 110f, you might need to move air through the condenser if system is fully charged.

Post pressures and ambient.

Almost 100 F outside. This is at idle. Suction side is a little high, discharge side is low.

Condenser fan is full speed (checked it with my scanner). Condenser fins and radiator clean - no dirt or blockage between.

Not in any order -
Compressor is weak
Restriction in system (What did the old orifice tube look like?)
Moisture in system (How long was vacuum pump on after repairs were done?)
Over charged system, too much refrigerant in system.
