I called my dealer parts dept and asked if lower cost wiper rubber only refills were available for the 24. He said there were but not available yet. Anyone hear anything?

But how would you spray out the fluid? I like the visioblades, an was disappointed to see they were dropped from the 25 models

No idea so that is why I had the question mark.

I looked on Ford parts and see a similar priced wiper refill that claims to fit my VIN but still suspect. I have a set to put on when needed and when I do I will dissect it.

Look at the wiper. The water comes from the metal part of the blade. They're talking about just replacing the rubber strip at the bottom.

That looks like a great wiper, but I can see it would be very expensive to replace if you can't just replace the rubber part. The 2025s don't have these. I wonder if you can use some kind of standard rubber insert in these wipers.

That's the question. Valeo doesn't sell much her in the U.S. There are more European models that use these wipers than here. But they seem to be a derivation of the Silencio blades, which I think can be found here. I would be interested to compare these.

FWIW, I just had the drivers side wiper replaced (just the rubber insert) on my '24 Nautilus at the dealer for $34. I was told the entire arm, if needed, would be $280. Hope I never need that.

That sounds good.

From my studying of the wiper, the secret to replacing the rubber is removing the end caps. It looks like you need a small screw driver and find the snap. The rubber looks standard. I did buy a full arm set last year as a precaution but have not needed to replace yet.

The bad news is you need a $280 tool to remove the end cap. 😁

Just to confirm, WW3018 and WW3017 appear to be order numbers for the LH and RH rubber inserts for the 2024 Nautilus (Valeo VisioBlade). The MSRP is ~$34 each, but that's better than close to $200 each. Here are snaps from the Ford parts site. The reference vehicle is my '24 R2H.

Hi swindler. I am not 100% sure and could be mistaken, however:
Going by part numbers, those items seem to be the entire, non-Visio wiper blade, not just the rubber squeegee/insert replacement.

In fact, when I Google “WW3017” and “WW3018”, the results describe them as a “Wiper Blade Assembly “, not as the rubber inserts.

Besides the part number indicators, a simple rubber squeegee/insert should not be that expensive.

So I would recommend verifying those are the rubber insert alone, before ordering from a seller who will not accept returns.

Again, I am not swearing I am 100% correct, but experience leads me to believe something may not be correct there.

Keep us updated and good luck.

I had looked at the valeos on amazon for a 24 and looked like a traditional blade with arm mount for a regulsr arm. I plan to look at my blades to see if a cannabilized i set could work. I have figure out how to remove the end caps.

Hi angore. There are online instructions available detailing the instructions to remove the end caps. Let me know if you can’t find them and I will find them again and post here.

Good luck.

I'm not 100% sure either. But @dtrust just bought the left rubber insert from the dealer for his '24, and it was $34. You can find prices in the mid $20s online. If you look at Ford's part list, the wiper arm is $430ish, the wiper blade $230ish, and this part $30ish. The material is listed as rubber and it only fits the '24. Where Google probably got crossways was the blade is an item listed in the breakout of the Wiper Blade Assembly. Google may have assigned that assembly to the item. Regardless, on the fordparts.com site, it says 'Wiper Blade - Left' (or Right).

As far as the possibility of it being a non-Visio blade, again - maybe so. It did not appear as a part until lately. Maybe Lincoln had too many complaints of there not being an alternate to the expensive VisioBlade. But the diagram shows the breakout of the VisioBlade, with the washer fluid dispensing from the wiper arm. We'll get more people looking at the wipers as time goes by and then we'll know for sure. Last year when I purchased a spare set ($$), I noticed Ford parts listed two types: heated version and unheated version. Now, Ford parts does not add this disclaimer. I plan to visit the dealer soon for routine maintenance and will discuss with parts and service dept with my complete set in hand.

Our vehicles are garaged and not daily drivers so wipers last longer time wise.
