'24 Nautilus MyLincoln Software Update Keeps Getting Interrupted

I believe that is the problem. I had the recall performed and it looks like the fix is actually still incomplete but it clears the recall. Until it is done it wont perform any other updates.
Jacyte, the recall on mine was still pending when the update processed while I was out of town. I did have the recall performed but it was after the update had already processed. I did ask the technician who performed the recall, it was done at my home, if he had any input on why the update keep showing interrupted but he had no information just guesses.

Hopefully I can help some folks with this. I had this issue with my '25 Nautilus - it failed every day for a few weeks including when I initiated it manually. It would often go into low battery mode which I suspected was related to the update attempt. My hypothesis is that it was draining battery to a point where the car intervened and stopped the update.

Sidebar for context: I use HomeAssistant (an open source home automation platform) which has an unofficial plugin for the Ford/Lincoln app - it uses the same API as the app, but exposes some pretty nice features like the 12V battery level. Because I have a very short daily commute, my 12V battery doesn't get a lot of time to charge. It seems to hover between 50 and 65% full. I have the hybrid and I've come to realize this car likely wasn't designed for a super short daily commute without a ton of other travel...but I digress.

Back to the main story: I went for a longer drive, about 4 hours total, and observed the battery was above 80%. Sure enough, it succeeded when I ran the update! It only went down about 14% and it goes into low battery mode at about 40%, so I'm still not sure why it seems to need such a high battery, but at least in my case that did it. Maybe others who often drive very short drives can confirm my findings if they take a longer trip, ensuring the 12V battery is relatively charged, and then attempt the update again.

If the battery is draining too much during a code update either the battery is weak (self discharge) or there is some code causing excessive battery drain (my opinion).

I would put it on a charger and get it to 100% rather than just drive it. I am not sure if an update will occur if hood was open with a charger attached either.
