My Lincoln
2024 Corsair GT III with 2026 GTIII on order
The order banks for the 2026 Nautilus opened on 2 May and production is scheduled to begin on 21 July. Does anyone have the 2026 Nautilus Order Guide available to post here? Thanks!

Lows: gutsier hybrid version is a worthy upgrade

*rolls eyes*

No. Car & Driver. There must be an Order Guide for the 2026 Nautilus. I hope someone will post it here.

Yeah, as I mentioned, this is what is out there unofficially for now to give a view of what's coming.

This is what is out there for now till Lincoln makes the order form it available.

I liked the blurb about BlueCruise 1.5. It makes me hope the 2024 is compatible for this and future updates.

Sure..that would be great, but why would Lincoln ever want to do that? No incentive at all as far as I can see!

It will come to the 24/25 eventually.

Same hardware on ours can power the software controller changes.
F150 and Mach-e that were on v1.0 are upgrading to 1.4, Many owners did themselves before the OTA came out a couple months ago.

Subscription model revenue for bc (ford and Lincoln) is an incentive to the company to keep updates coming. 10s of thousands of vehicles that support it is a lot of money just from the subscription dollars to not encourage people to renew.

I’ll keep a watch on the module upgrades for the 2024 once the 2026 is in production.

A suspicious person may think they are holding out so it would a carrot to continue BC after my subscription expires.

Based on previous comments by Lincoln and other media reports last year, I expected 1.4 to be downloaded to the 2024s this year. Then I saw 1.5 was shipping late last year and I wanted that instead. Now I'm hoping for something…anything…

Why? Lincoln is trying to rebuild it's brand as a customer-focused luxury vehicle. This is one of the ways they can do that.

Same for f150 and Mach-e owners.
They waited for years and many just went from 1.0 to 1.4

The software was ready but major issues on the OTA side. OTA has improved since q4 2024. Lots more work for OTA but I’m glad progress is being made.

What would keep them from doing it though? The hardware is the same.

Your optimism is overwhelming!
Well, fair question. I can think of a few things....
1) They are busy enough trying to sort current ongoing issues that are problematic (via updates, recalls, etc.)
2) The current version works fine, as intended...why mess with it?
3) The hardware might be the same, but integrating firmware/software is another issue...why mess with it when they might not get it right, and down the rabbit hole they go with having to update the update!

Those are a few of my thoughts on why I feel they would not do it,...but I would like to know why they would have an incentive to do so...!

P.S.
You responded to my question with a question...I am guessing you are a student of Socrates?

If the HW is the same then upgrading the FW/SW should not be any different.

Scratch off #2 also. Version 1.5 has features 1.2 does not, like Automatic Lane Changing. It also handles narrow lanes better and has better speed stability through curves (there's a couple of threads complaining about that on here). It can also sustain itself longer through trips, without needing driver assistance.
