Well, fair question. I can think of a few things....
1) They are busy enough trying to sort current ongoing issues that are problematic (via updates, recalls, etc.)
2) The current version works fine, as intended...why mess with it?
3) The hardware might be the same, but integrating firmware/software is another issue...why mess with it when they might not get it right, and down the rabbit hole they go with having to update the update!
Those are a few of my thoughts on why I feel they would not do it,...but I would like to know why they would have an incentive to do so...!
