2025 Navigator

Anyone got any updates on an Order Guide? Release date? Thanks
Re 2025 Navigator, I placed my order for a custom Reserve in December and received a order receipt within two days. I then around the 15th of this month, Ireceived a build date and VIN, indicating a build of March 17th 2025 & then last night about 10 days after receiving the first build notice, I received a new date of March 24th. While I appreciate Lincoln keeping me updated, I can't help but wonder what the heck they're doing? There has been a lot of hype about the 2025 and... IN MY OPINION, I'm finding the delays HIGHLY irregular and leaving me with a lot of unanswered questions, especially since searches over the internet indicate build times of 18 to 26 hours. I swore off GM decades ago over a dealership issue, but the mystery and lack of info on the 2025 is leaving me in the dark & wondering. I can remember when the future vehicles used to be at dealerships 3 months ahead of their model year & IMO... ii's crazy to take that long & Lincoln should be better at communicating with those that have pre ordered, becayse I'm reasonably sure that there are others that ordered earlier than I.

Did you're dealer increase your priority when they ordered your vehicle? Ford will usually prioritize dealer inventory before custom builds.

I am in a similar boat, BUT do not want to rush anything! Ford is hyper focused on quality and it’s a new vehicle…. So, if it takes some extra time for QC checks, I am all for it.
My wife has a 24 $140k Escalade with a bunch of problems that the Caddy Dealer does not wanna cover…
Ford cam take their time as long as they are making things right IMO

This is normal when ordering vehicles, especially refresh and redesigned ones. I ordered a Grand Wagoneer right when they announced them coming to the market. They did not start production for over three months. It was built in July but was delivered in November. It sat at the plant likely to correct glitches before coming to market, but I could not get information on why the car sat at the plant nor the timetable for delivery.

When I ordered my 25 Black Label L in late November, the salesman began to stress patience and don't expect it before March and don't be surprised if it arrives in June. I told him I already have had that experience with orders.

Special orders require patience. That being said, I ordered an Escalade a couple years later and took possession of it two months after placing the order. Even the dealer was shocked when it arrived so early. Sometimes its being in the right place at the right time.

The manufacturer is not in the customer service/hospitality industry, so they don't share info or investigate inquiries. Dealers are even left in the dark. Don't be surprised if after its built you don't get information on its whereabouts no matter who you call.

Your opinion is the same as mine as far as delivery and communication. One of several reasons I decided to go with a 2024 model off the lot just prior to the order banks opening for the new model (which I tired of waiting for). There were pros and cons for the 2025 model but one con was waiting 'til some unknown time in the spring to recieve my order.

Normally it should only take two or three days for your Navigator to get completely through the entire build process all depending on what days of the week it comes through.
Now with this being total redesign and not a refresh of Lincoln's flagship vehicle the build process will be extremely slow for the first month or so as they will be very concerned about quality because so much has changed. Production numbers each day will be low until they are done nitpicking every little thing on these vehicle's. Once everything in all areas has meet Lincoln's quality standards then production numbers will start to ramp up.
So it's really hard to say how long your Navigator might be here at the plant before it's released to the dealership. With a build data of March 24th everything here should be back to running at full production capacity by that time.
Mr Rinsky posted this earlier and I believe he is spot on. cant rush perfection.

Agreed... I really, mostly held off because I was optimistic that Ford/Lincoln would finally figure out, that a Powerboost Hybrid would be an awesometastic thing in a vehicle this size. Sadly, I don't think that is ever going to happen and hence, partly why I pulled the trigger on the '25... and of course, the full screen display! :)
My wife is pro-Caddy, and there are a lot of things I like about hers, just hoping Ford's/Lincoln's version can hold up to the scrutiny I'm about to give it, once I receive it that is!
IMO- the Caddy full screen display WITH the HUD, already gives it a step up sadly... as Lincoln dropped their awesometastic HUD from the '25 because of the full screen display.
In addition, I have big dogs and the way the 2nd row pivots up toward the first row's seats and can stow that way, is another HUGE positive for Caddy... you get so much more access to the 2nd/3rd rows and it can stay that way and give my 3 goldens more space... while the Navi's 2nd row chairs have to return to their static upright positions. :(

They will build retail orders at same time down same line as they build ones for inventory. Been told countless times they will prioritize orders only to watch that not happen. I wish all they built first were confirmed orders but that's not the case.

Oh ok well thank you for the insight!! I didn’t know that. My dealer has only a theory that an option I selected might have been the hold up.

That’s why I didn’t go for a Caddy a neighbor down the street got a new one. That thing has been in the shop so much that he is going to trade it in. Half the time he said the dealer just has it sitting there while they are “working” on it. It’s has some engine issues that they keep fixing but it doesn’t fix the problem I guess.

My dealer said a 19 is priority !!! Even though I don’t have any build date for my black label. I ordered mine on 10/29.

Hi Zegapa81. Just some basic “Priority Code” information:
Dealer assigned Priority Codes run from 10 to 19. 10 being the best/highest priority.
So a Priority Code of 19 is not what would generally be described as “…a priority…”.

Therefore, I am not sure what your dealer meant by “…19 is a priority…”, other than the fact that yes, “19” is a Priority Code.

On a slightly related note: There are better Priority Codes, but they are assigned by Lincoln/Ford corporate for things like replacements for vehicles lost/damaged in transit, corporate buybacks, Lemon Law replacements, buyers with the last name of “Ford”, etc. etc.

All of that being said…the Priority Code for these vehicles has little to no affect on our orders. Dealer allocation and scheduling/manufacturing constraints will be far more pertinent to the order and scheduling timetables.

Hope you get your new vehicle as soon as possible and good luck. 🍻

my dealer assigned priority code was 19 also. i think it is standard for ordinary orders.

My dealer got an arrival ETA yesterday. Currently projected week of 2/24.

lol, that was the debated vehicle i almost ordered. I'm about 2.5 hrs from the plant.

Sometimes yes due to commodity limits one part or feature may hold up overall production. Full consoles were in extreme short supply a few years ago and many of my clients had two options, go with a pass thru or don't get a Navi. I lost a few orders over that. Even ones already placed I got notified to call client and ask what they wanted to do. Either way that one was getting built as a pass thru. Did they still want it or not?

Showed my wife this, yea she wants this one now, but not at this time. Maybe in a couple years. Good to dream.
