2025 Lincoln Navigator L Review.coming soon...

Im in the car service business and have put 11000 miles on my 2025 Lincoln Navigator L. This is my fourth Navigator. My laptop went down and Im working on getting a new one. I will post a review when I setup my new laptop.

Basically its a totally different and amazing vehicle!

Reliability- Ive followed closely and they did put in the latest CDF drum in the 10R80 and made many improvements in the engine. This is the most reliable Navigator yet.

Performance- This Navigator is much faster than previous ones. This is a 5 second 0 to 60 Navigator while the 2024 is a 6 second vehicle. The Conserve and Excite modes are useable unlike the past.

Cargo- Expanded a little more in the cargo area.

Seats- The third row has a small middle fold down to slide through long objects.

Handling- Remember how I used Hellwig sway bars? This Navigator corners better than the 2023 with performance sway bars. This one doesnt need. The rear end no longer bobs up and down and neither does the hood.

Comfort- The ride is much much better! More comfortable ride over bumps!

All I can say its as if Ford marked off everything on the checklist and its vastly improved!

Steering wheel- Allows much better vision of the road and speedometer.

BlueCruise 1.5- Amazing!

Android Auto- Perfect integration!

AI powered- This Navigator does a lot off of voice commands.

Quietness- A lot more sound insulation in this one!

Google maps as the default navigation...great improvement and voice powered.

Only complaint is the overall controls. It takes getting used to. Most everything is done on the touch screen.

When my new laptop gets set up I will post more!

Wow! That`s great I`m glad your really enjoying your new vehicle,mine has been really great too.I installed a few mods to my truck and installed the Ford Performance tune which made a big difference and a catch can and a cold air intake from S&B plus I just got a much larger intercooler and blow off valve it made the truck much more responsive and my fuel mileage even improved .4 mpg around town.

My 2023 Lincoln Navigator L was fast but it was like a 1960s muscle car. The suspension simply didnt match the power of the vehicle. The hood would lift up at full throttle runs and there wasnt much in the way of cornering. The Hellwig bars improved the cornering but the ride got rougher.

On the 2025 its certainly much faster and the cornering is a lot better. For even better cornering you can put it on Excite mode. The cornering ia better than the Hellwig modified 2023. The hood and rearend stay flat on the 2025 versus the 2023s 1960s muscle car suspension.

You may not have to do any modifications on the 2025 to get it to where you want it to be. Seems like Ford addressed a lot of performance issues here.

I would say the 2025 became more of a German style car like a BMW or Mercedes. Doesnt feel like a truck at all.

That`s one of the biggest reasons for buying the 2024 instead of the 2025,I like the buttons and I really like the Black and chrome on my 24.I think that it would be really distracting to have all the controls through the touch screen.

The 2025 Ford Expedition still has knobs and switches. The model to look at is the Platinum Stealth Performance. Thats a truck built for on-road sport. The Navigator is luxury but when Excite mode is engaged it gets sporty. The Expedition Platinum Stealth Performance ia truly a on road sport truck without even engaging the sport mode.

Well there not all bad my new truck has been fantastic,and I`ve been driving new Lincolns since 1988.

Im not sure what anyone is talking about. My truck is great. Only a few minor issues such as:

- There seemed to be electrical problems but all was solved with an over the air update.

- They moved the third row seat up Im guessing to make more cargo room. Now the third row gets caught going down if the 2nd row isnt 1 notch up. One time the third row stopped working and solved with reset procedure.

- Masaage drivers seat a little noisy as if something rubbing.

Thats it! Its a wonderful upgrade.

- A lack of buttons, knobs and switches. Some things should never be moved to a touchscreen.

I read through that thread and all the issues are common for all new cars such as...

- 22/24 inch wheels vibrate at highway speeds...The only way to get a true balance is with a Roadforce machine. The factory balance is never perfect. All dealerships have one.

- Electrical issues like misbehaving massage seats...I believe solved with over the air update. I thought initially it was a bad or loose ground.

- Fauly module/bracket...Happens. You got a bad one.

- Window sealant on body paint...easy fix...eraser wheel on a dual action polisher...the dealer is supposed to catch this on inspection

- Transport or "lot damage"...Not Fords fault. It happens when coming from the factory. The dealership is responsible for not fully inspecting the vehicle prior to delivery to the customer.

The issues are minor and can be taken care of in a dealer visit. All cars even Toyotas go through this.

It's okay, I just don't think you get what I am trying to get across here. In no way, was I trying to say that I think the 2025 Nav has issues. You don't have to explain all that to me, but thanks, anyway.
