Is your '22 ICE or GT? I went from a '23 Reserve III to a '24 GT III two months ago so have some perspective if you're moving from ICE.
They are very different cars. The seating position is different in the GT to accommodate the battery. I find it better. Drive wise they feel very different. The GT III feels quicker at low speeds because of the instant torque from the electric motors. You also notice its 600 pounds heavier when maneuvering and driving on broken pavement. Do you have someplace to charge the car every night? If not, it's not particularly efficient. Especially on the highway.
You become obsessed with the power gauge. There's a box that shows you how far you can push the accelerator before kicking in the ICE engine so it's like a video game. How fast can you merge on to the Interstate while staying all-electric? Same thing with the regenerative braking box. How can you stop with regenerative braking alone without triggering the friction brakes?
I haven't used an ounce of gas since July because of the distance of my commute and normal errands. One thing that annoys me is the ADAS is either a different version than ICE or is just tuned differently for the GT. BlueCruise on my ICE was significantly better at its job than on the GT on the exact same highways. I think the GT is on a totally different version of Sync and receives far fewer updates than ICE. Overall, I really like the GT and mine's rattle free which has been pointed out here and by some reviewers as a potential issue.
Are you leasing the GT II as well? If so, go for a '24. The '24 is $55 a month cheaper (10.5K/36 months). That's from the Lincoln website and you'll likely do even better as the dealers want the '24s gone. They are the same car expect you lose Park Assist but that may only be a Collection III thing. Since it's leased, '24 vs. '25 shouldn't matter to you since depreciation won't affect you.
