My Lincoln
2025 Aviator
So I noticed the other day that I no longer had turn by turn navigation in my Aviator. I also noticed that the car info (mileage, location, etc) is not current in the app on my phone. Also, the connectivity settings in the menu have totally disappeared. I called Lincoln and they had me try to reset the system by holding the volume button for 10 seconds. That did not work. I was then going to do a full reset of the system (can't remember the technical term), and when I did that I got a message that the reset failed. I was told to take the car to the dealer. I dropped it off at the dealer yesterday at 8 am. When I called yesterday at 530p to check on it I was told they were still troubleshooting it and they would have to keep it overnight. I called today at 430p to check on it again and was told that it is undergoing an "update" but that it is going very slowly. Dealer said they would call me back tomorrow at 11am with an update. Ridiculous. Has anyone ever had an issue like this?

I'm having multiple connectivity issues with my new 2025 Aviator. My phone doesn't connect to the internet through the Android_Share wifi. I haven't had the same issue as the above mentioned, but I have had many random problems. Many times I just pull over, turn off the car, turn it back on and the system goes back to normal.

Mine is now doing the exact same thing. Last update on the app shows 9 days ago

Thanks! I didn't know that was an option. I decided to do a full reset of the system which worked perfectly. I think something in the setup was corrupted. Also, I just upgraded to an iPhone 17 and the system is now running great.

Confirmed - hold power for 10 seconds DOES NOT WORK but as soon as I hit it 7 times in the 5 seconds, immediate reboot. Now to see if it worked. Mine has been off line for 10 days which is strange since the update was done September 17th more than 10 days ago. I think I will start to reboot anytime I get updates.

Well the reboot did not work, still no connectivity, no phone contacts etc. and no Android Auto. Next up, system reset. Worst case I have a service appointment but not until the 10th right AFTER my trip to Louisiana.
