2024 Nautilus software and battery issues

Have you tried contacting the Lincoln Concierge? They are pretty knowledgeable regarding the workings of the infotainment system and proper setup. It might be worth a call.
Actually, Lincoln Way team is better. Concierge hands off to them. 18443242330

OT, but we need to see a pic of your car in the sticky thread. Diamond Red with Chalet must be beautiful. It was my second choice.

I recently purchased a 2024 Lincoln Nautilis the dealer told me I was the first one in the state of Florida to take possession of the car. Within a few days they called me back to update the software for no particular reason and then within a week of that my battery went dead. I took it in for service, and it went dead again, I took it in for service another time and it continued to drain after they replaced it with a brand new battery now they’re trying to load software to monitor what’s happening to the car and the car won’t accept the software they’re trying to download into my new vehicle my car is only six weeks old I haven’t been able to drive it for three weeks. Has anybody else been having similar software and battery issues?
I leased a 2024 Nautilus. Lincoln just picked it up for the third time. Software is always malfunctioning. They fix two things and three more things go wrong. I'm not optimistic they have the ability to fix these problems.

On a side note, it's Prime Day!

While this would really be overkill for what is needed by the Nautilus, I was looking for a new jump starter as mine is very old, and this NOCO Genius GB40 Boost Plus jump starter is at a really good price today.

All the other NOCO devices are on sales today as well. If you need a tender, now's the time.

Actually, that is what the dealer recommended as well. I did find out something though of interest. If you are connected with Android Auto and use the Amazon Music app in the Android Auto on the screen, it seems to conflict with the Amazon Music on the Lincoln side of the infotainment system. It will cut in and out switching between phone and Lincoln.

I was trying to wean myself off Android Auto but lose access to apps not in the Lincoln Play Store such as listening to my favorite streaming classical station.

Spoke too soon -car towed back to dealership yesterday .. another dead battery after just 3 weeks. Welcome lights not working over prior 2 days, screens very slow to start & like last time I kept getting' rear washer fluid low' indicator, then the black screens & no access. Jump started to get it towed. FOB never left near it. Dealership could not do the infotainment upgrade when new battery was put in last time even at 100% charged & said it needed more miles on it first. Frustrated is an understatement!
I have just completed the buy back process & car has been surrendered, with all money back & no losses.

Corporate concierge & RAV team were both excellent & very helpful, communicating well - especially concierge at corporate BUT dealership so far from that & a very, very big reason I am walking away & not re purchasing. I was about to ask for buy back but corporate suggested it first & very quickly approved, the offer made did not need any negotiation - even waived the charges for miles driven .. but that was under 800 miles!!

Once it came back to me after second time at dealership, the brake grind/nose started ... that was new! I tested battery every day & it would drop if not driven, (the rear wiper lights came on every time it dropped) ... so was it truly fixed?? It was returned to us with trunk panels not back in place, spare wheel not attached to bracket & a box of nuts & bolts left in it .. basically job not finished. Both times it was in, we received no paper work & my husband missed 1 service call & returned that call on 4 different days to finally get a call 11 days after car returned with a voice mail left stating " I heard you wanted to talk to me.." he never called back as we had begun RAV process. The infotainment system was ??updated & a very audible tech noise when car turned on when it came back to me ... that started to not happen in last few days I had it & weather apps freezes & did not update.... it really was not reliable.
If it did not have so many issues it would have been a great car - when it worked I loved it, but only being able to drive it 9 weeks of the 17 weeks I owned it was a major issue for me.

I created this software stack chart but not sure accuracy so need input. It is probably over simplified.

My understanding was that 9.1.0 is a version of software for a communications module, not the UI. Is that what it says in the About… screen?

I posted in another thread that I just had the battery quit for the first time after 123 days of ownership. In our situation, the car had just taken a round trip to the store and we received the Deep Sleep message 90 minutes after we returned home. Everything was flat dead and it took a handful of minutes of charging before the lights came back. I don't believe that's a bad battery (although it may be now). That's some function misbehaving and draining the battery.
I had the same issue. My car when into battery saver mode 5 times and drained the batrery completely. Car had to be jumped off each time. Once the dealership replaced the battery, the battery drained issue was resolved.

Well … finally happened … shortly after a 4 mile local round trip to the bank, Lincoln Way notified that my 2024 Nutilus Hybrid had gone into power save mode. Could not find any help online for accessing the 12v battery so had to figure it out on my own. The voltage was low (11.8v) so I connected my new NOCO Genius5 which registered only one bar… after about 45minutes showing 2 bars.
It only gets out of the garage once or twice a week and then only for less than 10 miles total. ( bought it 2/24/24 now it’s 7/24 and only 1164 miles ).
Assuming the battery will get back to full charge I suspect I will need to either have to drive more or connect the NOCO Genius5 regularly. I would appreciate any comments y’all might have.

Suggest you connect the NOCO Genius5 on a regular basis and make sure it gets to the Green light. Where do you have the NOCO connected (it matters).

It's not simple to get to the battery under the tire. The steps are in this document.

I have seen voltage as low as 11.2v and I connect to my noco 5 at least once a week now. I do not have the 24P14 CSP applied yet. It does get to full charge. The latest charge reached max from 12.04v (about 50% charge) fairly quickly.

Directly on battery … according to NOCO don’t use the connection under the hood unless there is both battery positive and negative connection points there (only for jump start if no both + and - battery post points)

If you connect directly to battery, make sure you connect the negative side after the Battery Management System (BMS) chip, not directly on the negative battery post.
I think it’s on the buss directly on battery post.
