My Lincoln
2024 Navigator
Just bought the new Navigator. It doesn’t have the latest version of Blue Cruise on it. It has the 1.0 version; no lane change assist or active road read function the other, lesser models have. The. Salesman assured me it has latest version of blue cruise. Does anyone with a Navigator have Blue Cruise 1.2?

Lincoln/ford never released bluecruise updates or installed the software on the nav. At this point, it's safe to assume, the nav won't get any new version of it until the refresh comes out later this year.

Unless u bought a base model you have ALC / ACC - you need to enable it in the informant or steering wheel (I can’t remember which)

I bought the reserve with the luxury package. I don’t understand your response.
In other words, you have lane assist and others, you have to enable them either in the informant or in the steering wheel

I have a 2-week-old 2024 Navigator Black Label. It has Blue Cruise 1.0

BTW, my Nav is missing the front camera washer and Touchless Rear Lift Gate.

Congratulations! You will be pleased...

Touchless Lift Gate vanished in 2022 - Chip Shortaghe and Never Returned (in 2023 they gave you a credit on the window sticker)

I'm not sure if I have a front camera washer, but the one on the rear is useless.

No navigator has the hands free liftgate at the moment, it's been deleted since late my22. As for front camera washer, take it back and let em know.

I raised the issues with the dealer.

As folks posted, the touchless liftgate seems to be a thing of the past.

The front camera washer is to-be-determined.

If anyone has 2024 that would be very useful to know.

I have a 2020 Reserve with the "touchless" lift gate and most of the time I look like I'm clogging swinging my leg back and forth to get it to open, then I use the button. Not a huge loss IMHO, but sad to see de-contenting on a luxury brand...

Very sad.

I was torn between buying the 2024 or waiting for a new generation, thinking the new generation would have the current Blue Cruise and maybe other nice to have features....

The original Blue Cruise is "OK" for my use. On the plus side, the current generation is a very nice buggy and available now.

2023 Navigator here as well.. can’t find versions in settings? Or is it only known if you can/can’t do certain features?

No lane change in hands free for us either. Salesman told us it has the most up to date Blue Cruise and changes lanes… don’t live near a mapped road to have tested it before buying. But obviously could use it on our usual trips out of town.

It is really easy to find the 2024 Navigator Order Guide online. It clearly shows that the 2024s are equipped with Blue Cruise 1.0. Or, of course, one could ask the salesperson/manager which version it would have if that is important to you.

Tbh, I'd trust the trust the truck over the people around me any day. Haven't heard to many people complain about bluecruise causing their accidents either so that's a good start for it to be only 2ish yrs old.
Yep. The technology is amazing, and there are so many safeguards built in that will prevent the AG/BC from being operative if it is unsafe. It's awesome.

I've put maybe a couple hundred Blue Cruise miles on our 2024 Navigator. It works rather well. In my mind, It's a mix of gadget/novelty/luxury/usefulness. Heck, where else can you get all that in one touch of a button? :D

For my use model, if I keep it past the "trial" period is an open question. If the rumored $800/3 years is accurate, Lincoln may have a bit of a challenge on their hands. Especially if it stays at 1.0. But...it's less than 75 cents per day!

I agree. We moved from an older car, have a Volvo that has the auto pilot, have to have hands on the wheel like auto glide. More than likely let the BC go if OTA updates don’t happen.

Stupid arguments… it works, just need to not block sensor (ie dont put ur hands between 11 and 1 with it active)… real question is bay is different between 1.0 and 1.3, in software typically nothing.

We have this navigator because it’s a beast in the deep snow, quiet, slightly unique, won’t leave one stranded, and pretty safe.
