Please : what is LDE and by ‘power button’ do you mean the one labeled ‘Start Stop Engine’?I had a customer's vehicle the other day doing the same thing. I did the LDE system reset by holding down the power button and the skip forward button at the same time for 10 seconds, that reset the system and it worked after that.
In the 24 manual, it says to just push the button. I posted a screenshot of the manual in a prior postHi gang. As DomDoobie stated above, the issue is that we now have many forum members stating how they reset (or heard how to reset) their particular vehicle.
However, it has become confusing, because the SYNC system reset procedure can vary between different vehicles/model years which are equipped with different versions of SYNC, such as SYNC 3.0/3.4, SYNC 4, and the newest Google based SYNC system.
Some use a simultaneous press of two particular buttons, while others use a prolonged press on the center of the crystal knob, etc.
Either way, if we are confused by what we are seeing here and other places online, the correct answer for our particular vehicle is in our Owners Manual.
Therefore, the best way for all of us to find the correct SYNC reset procedure for our particular vehicle/model year is to look in the Index of our Owners Manual for the correct SYNC reset procedure.
Hope this helps, and good luck.![]()
Hi angore. Yes, this thread began by discussing the 2024 Nautilus, and that screenshot you provided was very helpful. In the 24 manual, it says to just push the button. I posted a screenshot of the manual in a prior post
I have the same issue. Nothing changes. Car just repeats off lineJust spent an hour in an online chat with Lincoln to no avail. My car has lost network connectivity, with the Network & Internet menu not even appearing in Settings. I can get to it by going to Hotspot, which tells me I need to enable network connectivity, but when it takes me to the N&I menu the only option is Wi-fi and its greyed out. Lincoln had me do a system restart by holding down the volume button with no effect, and then we attempted to do a factory reset, which did absolutely nothing - all profiles, apps and settings remained. Lincoln directed me to take it back for service. Has anybody found a solution? Is there another way to reset the modem/system? Weather has not updated since April 2nd, so this doesn't seem to be getting fixed on its own. Thanks!
