2024 Lincoln Nautilus Lost Network & Internet Options, Unable to Factory Reset

I would assume that the update has been applied. Let’s hope the issue you are seeing is not caused by the update. I pick up my new Nautilus tomorrow and I added the VIN to Lincoln.com and it shows the update is needed. See attachment
I agree. My car was delivered a couple days after Werhand. The service department told me that they had loaded the software update, and the My Lincoln app shows that I have no open customer satisfaction programs. So, it looks like the My Lincoln app is up-to-date.

Dealer ran a system scan and found issues with two of the modules - the gateway module and the APIM. They had to perform a programmable install on both modules to get back to original state, and then ran updates on the APIM to get everything back in working order with no more fault codes. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

24 Black Label loaded with hybrid. 84k total with taxes. Screens went blank before getting it off the lot. Service got them working again but not off to a good start. Ride has been smooth. Mileage good as advertised. Took on a road trip to Florida and it was a mess. Nav screen disappeared then eventually reappeared. Pedestrian sensor alert cam on saying to service now and all sound in the vehicle went out. No music at all. No Xm, radio, or Bluetooth. Nothing. It would come on periodically during the trip and then go back out. Then turned on massage seats and they wouldn’t turn off. Would pull the car over and turn off the engine and restart. Didn’t work. Finally everything began to work again at a rest stop. Brake coach display came on and wouldn’t go off the screen. Finally turned it off in settings. Came back one more time but has since disappeared. On one ride seat belt indicator stayed on screen for the entire trip but resolved next time it started. Simply put, I’ve got an 85k mess on my hands that I regret buying and now feel like I’m going to end up putting about 50k miles on a Corsair loaner before I come close to unloading this thing without taking a massive hit. This was my first Lincoln. Never again.
I am sorry to hear all of your issues. I feel your pain. My purchase was impulsive and I regret buying the Nautilus. Seems like there is some new problem every day. I get pissed off every time I drive it. I will hang on for a bit before I dump it. Maybe something can be done with all the technology bugs and my front end that shakes after 50 mph. That is so Ford? My first and last Lincoln for sure. Sorry to be so negative but my excitement has turned into a disaster.

My story is so long and I am so upset I have started the process of pushing the Lemon Law... I too have Connectivity issues on my 2024 Nautilus, on a vehicle w 700 miles that no one has an answer for me... nor any time frame to fix.. I was still in the dealer lot when I received my first Connectivity warning and the Salesman said it was because of a storm coming in....

Aaaargh. I think I got very lucky with my salesperson. He was very knowledgeable and tech savvy and he knew that I was as well. We learned a few things together thru a couple of test drives and I helped him learn about CarPlay in another customer's Nautilus that he was delivering. He made sure that we set up everything before I drove off the lot - google login, phone, phone as key, exterior keypad, emergency start code. He took a long time and we did it all. I'm very thankful, especially when I hear stories like these.

My Salesman left the Dealership 3 days after my purchase and the Sales Manager left yesterday 4/21/2024. I spoke to the NEW SALES MANAGER TODAY and told him I didnt want the car any more and to give me a new one.. lets see what tomorrow has to offer. I have already started my "Lemon Law" complaint .. unfortunately I have to leave Florid and return to CT Friday and I have no other choice but to drive. We need to get back for surgery for my husband....

I just saw a most form "Werhand" he seems to have found a fix w/module updates fingers crossed this works in CT

I was having connectivity this past week. This is what resolved my problem.

1. Make sure Setttings->Network->Vehicle Connectivity in ON
2. Go into Settings->Privacy->Data sharing with Lincoln and turn everything on. You probably only need Share Vehicle Data On but to be safe turn all on for now.
3. Reboot your phone so Lincoln App resets

Hope that helps. Things aren’t as bad as they seem, but there are not a lot of resources out there for help.

i have a new problem discovered today where my car no longer sees any networks when parked in my garage. But just now, I checked it and it’s connected to my network again :)

Up to 1,200 miles...love driving the car, but I've had the screen reboot randomly at times, sometimes the infotainment screens will stay off until I do the volume button reset. Today I even had the instrument cluster reset while driving, but thankfully it came back pretty quickly. I wouldn't want to dissuade anybody from buying it because overall I think it's a great car, but hopefully Ford can get some software updates out soon!

Good luck to you and your husband.

I feel the exact same way. I absolutely love this vehicle, even with all the buggy software. But I'm one of the lucky ones without rear thumping noises, dead batteries and destroyed engines caused by bad injectors. As much as I love my car, it's a bit scary hearing some of those stories.

My ex neighbors in Florida recently purchased two Audis. For each of the purchases the dealership or Audi (not sure which) sent someone to their home for two hours to help them get everything set up. Lincoln could use a program like this for the new Nautilus. The person I spoke to today at Lincoln was tech-savvy and helpful, but you could tell he’s never actually played with the system. He’s probably working off a some sort of script for common problems. He was generally knowledgeable and between the two of us we figured a few things out. He did let me know that the infotainment update to 9.01 dowloaded yesterday but the update wasn’t done. He had no more information on this but from my side I can’t even tell that my system is on 9.0 or that an update was attempted. It just says system up to date….

Thanks for the advice, and Yes I have don this, I even deleted the App and reinstalled. You must have missed my comment that I can not even find the "Network and Internet" to select it anymore. I love the car too, just extremely annoyed that we spend $70K for a car and have to put up with this. I am anxious to see what the next step must be..

With all of those issues, I would look into your states Lemon Law. NC's is quite generous and when I lemon lawned a Volve XC60 a few years ago, Volvo "bought" it back and refunded me all of my lease payments and initial money up front and added a few K on top for my trouble.

I had a customer's vehicle the other day doing the same thing. I did the LDE system reset by holding down the power button and the skip forward button at the same time for 10 seconds, that reset the system and it worked after that.

Sorry to hear about your problems TJMAC! I am in the same boat. My apim module was just replaced. Five weeks in the shop. It began with both screens going totally black on the 4th of July weekend. Got the POS back on 8/7. Been a problem since I bought it pretty much. Tonight the volume went out and then back on after shutting the vehicle off 4 times. Really? I did not sign up for this for nearly $80K all in. I have been refused a buy back twice. Working on a third try to get them to buy my Reserve III back. I am doubtful. Will try to trade it in for an X5 that I should have bought. My first Lincoln. Early build from late 2023 and bought of the lot in Feb. of 2024. After tonight's volume control episode after waiting for the damn thing for five weeks I will start looking into the Lemon Law now as I never know what will happen next. Never ends. I hope you get everything iworked out soon. I feel your pain. My summer sort of sucked as I have been pissed off about the vehicle. I will move on once I get into a more dependable vehicle.

The skip forward button is new to me. What button is that?

What is your preferred dealership in CT?

What is an "LDE system reset", as opposed to the infotainment restart (pushing down the "volume" crystal knob for 10 seconds)?
