Update on our situation: Wedenesday will be the start of our third week since the event, not much contact from the dealer, Concierge has called or emailed us every couple of days with updates, seems to be following the same pattern as the OP.

This seems to be Hybrid only. I see CSP 24B23 in the Hybrid and not in the Non-Hybrid Vins.

Now we wait and continue the time honored time of speculation. I will call my dealer today to see if see if there is any update but primary reason is to remind dealer I want the fix. I am sure they are busy. I had looked at his stock previously and did not have many hybrids. The sister (same equirment) to the one I bought (asher gray) is not listed any more. Most hybrids show in transit.

Given some had issues right after delivery, I wonder if they found some fails in transit (loading and unloading on boat).

'24 Hybrid owner here. Generally happy with the car (other than the annoying electronics reboots required now and then and the noise from the rear suspension (that is fixable, but I haven't gotten in to do it yet)). But if I were supposed to be buying my Nautilus this coming weekend, I would tell the dealer I would not be doing the deal until after the engine fix is done. One person on Facebook had the engine go out on them as they drove it off the dealer lot. Too big of a risk for me, if I wasn't already an owner.

For me, I continue to drive mine with my fingers crossed. It's my only vehicle and I'm not laying out the cash for a rental car. But I have cancelled plans to drive it from Pennsylvania to Florida and Pennsylvania to Virginia on trips in May and June. My friend who is also going on the trips will drive their car.

Thanks for the info. I emailed Lincoln Canada last week asking if my VIN was on the list, they replied with yes and included the memo forwarded to the Dealers in Canada. I forwarded their responds to my Dealer, who contacted Lincoln Canada, and have decided not to deliver until the fix is communicated/parts arrived and replaced. I'm pleased with that, not sure how long it will take, my car is all detailed, sitting on the lot. If I'm driving by, I stop by and take a look at it.... lol

Are there any statistics on what percentages of Nautilus FHEVs have the serious engine issue? I greatly sympathize with those who have experienced this problem (for them the statistic is of course 100%). I notice the number estimated is 6374; what is the total number of Nautilus vehicles in the US/Canada? Has the issue been corrected at the factory going forward?

Would be nice to know how many vehicles actually have experienced the injector issue to date. Only Ford really knows and as far as I know, they haven't shared this information.
Would also be nice to know the cause of the issue and the proposed remedy. Guidance should be coming soon on this.

I wonder if its possible that a batch of cars were produced using improvised stock that has proven to be inadequate for fuel system pressure over time.

The Automotive Detective. Another interesting theory. You do a great job delving into the issue with your knowledge of the operation of the vehicle. But if this were the case, I'd expect a quick decision on the remedy and the campaign to already be underway. Perhaps there's a supply issue or something else delaying the action?

There is a person on Facebook who posted that their hybrid died due to the fuel injector issue about a month ago after 800 miles. The dealer did a "new lower to the engine", whatever that means. The issue of the fuel injectors was known and discussed between the dealer and the customer. According to the customer, "The service manager did confirm the replacement motor has the confirmed good injectors." The car has been delivered back to the owner and it is running fine.

Assuming the dealer is being honest, this would seem to confirm that Lincoln has a way to determine good from bad injectors and has replacements available (but who knows how many). I'm thinking maybe this repair was done with Lincoln engineering involved as a test case for the process. But who knows.

It's the Ideal Gas Law, PV = nRT. If it's cold enough, it reduces the pressure and the injectors can never fail.

Seriously, there was that letter sent by Lincoln to inform the Canadian dealers about the problem. Has he not read it yet?

I don't know but my dealer said my VIN shows nothing under OASIS whatever that is so, I will contact Lincoln using your email address you gave me. Thanks again for your help.

The dealer I leased mine from in South Florida truly seemed completely unfamiliar with the issue. Said they have sold many, many of them and have had no issues. I spoke to the my salesman and the Sales Manager, who in turn said he spoke to the service manager. I provided them copies of screen caps of the May 1 Ford bulletin, and showed them posts from people who had the issue. Again said they had never seen nor heard of anyone having them, and suggested it's just one of those internet things akin to looking up a rare illness and thinking you have the same thing.

They had the car I wanted on the lot, and I needed to turn my current lease in, so I did what may very well turn out to be a big mistake, told them all they had better take good care of me if I have any issues, and I did the lease. Nothing showed up on the Lincoln Way app...so fingers and toes crossed here I go.

I'm curious. Can you check the build month inside the door panel?

I discovered that if you look up your VIN on Ford parts ordering site, it provides the day of build. Mine showed 12/25/23.

Very nice. That date was my original 'production week', but it was moved up. My build started on Thanksgiving, and was completed the following Tuesday. I guess no time off for them.

Ah yes . . . that interweb thing all the kids are talking about. It’s a silly fad, I’m sure.

Fwiw, my South Florida dealer is all over this issue, although they did stop and then restart Hybrid deliveries. One of their guys is very active in this forum.
