2024 delivery schedule

You have to buy it.

@Lars5457 and @agogley both were on the Glovis Chorus. Their ship arrived in Portland before your vehicle left the factory. They believe the status update means their vehicle was loaded onto a railcar and is shipping to the dealer. It's been in Portland for the last 18 days.

If your dealer says it's on the water, but doesn't know what VINView is, then we can't tell you any more than that either. I would be suspicious of what he says he knows. Call the Lincoln Concierge.
I tried that too and the lady told me that she doesn't have any information other than on the water. I have to ask the dealer for more.

Oh wow. The site only shows the cargo liner. You have a link?
You have to click on interior link. Accessories.lincoln.com

(This will be my last post on this because it doesn't relate to delivery scheduled) sorry to those who may be offended. I was just trying to help those waiting on delivery.

Did you buy it, or did they ship it to your for free to your house.
Vishan,

if you're asking about the manual, yes, I had to buy it and they shipped it to my house.

I find it reprehensible that a Black Label dealer would not know how to access VINView. Unfortunately, I've understood that only the dealer that ordered the vehicle can access the info. So they're your best source.

Again, our last VINView trace we've seen was Glovis Countess, which left the 17th. If you're on a ship that left later, we have no evidence of it. Maybe someone else who ordered in your timeframe will provide a VINView trace that matches your ship.

Well ‘on the water’ is what VinView will show for one’s that are?

It will show a point on the map out at sea. It can be used to compare to vessel coordinates to figure what ship it’s on.

I can try asking my dealer again. But they are the worst dealer I've ever dealt with. If I call the sales manager he makes it go to voicemail and even if I leave a voicemail he never gets back to me, nor does he respond to texts. And then the salesman himself does the same. So then just to get updates I have to call Lincoln Concierge to talk to them and get updates via her. I can't even go to the dealer because it is 2 hours there and 2 hours back. I even tried calling the dealer's main line and asking to talk to the Manager or Salesman by their name and as soon as they recognize the number they decline the call, and if they answer they say give me some time I'll call you back and then never call back. And when they do respond they never even answer the questions I have. Like for example my car went all the way to shipped I never even got a single email form Lincoln as I was supposed to so I told my sales manager and he said there's nothing he can do. Then I asked him some questions about the car 1 month ago he said he has to look into it and get back to me still hasn't. I asked him about VinView he didn't even know what that was. So honestly at this point I can't do anything but wait for them to say your vehicle is here. Within just the past 4-5 years I purchased at least 15 luxiours cars and I have never dealt with a dealer this bad. They are acting like I am the person selling the car and they are buying it. They act as if they are the customer. Worst customer satisfaction.

Look at other dealers. You would be surprised how many in transit vehicles are available for purchase. I did that for the same reason. Yeah I will travel 250 miles but it is one trip and now I get the service I needed. Plus no doc fees or add ons.

I tried that but there are no black label Hybrid with Jet Appearance package In Chroma Caviar available in transit.

It's whatever now I know for the future. My car is coming in 1 month anyway and then in the future I'll think twice before ordering a car through them now.

My order just updated! I will wait until Monday to get a vinview. I guess I am now looking at about 2 weeks...
Got a vinview of my order from my salesman. It is on rail and left Portland. He said it has an eta of March 2-8. I notice an event on Jan 30 "work completed". I wonder what that is?

Like how someone found the window sticker glitch where you can edit the URL with your VIN to see the window sticker. Is there not a glitch like that to see our cars with VinView if you edit the URL with your vin.

I think your car fell off the side of the ship and they had to repair the water damage. That is what happened. You weren't supposed to find the out though.

Just kidding. But I declined a car I purchased in Frankfurt Germany while stationed there back in the mid 90's. They were taking it off the truck carrier and side swiped the complete drivers side of the car. They said "we can fix that" I reminded them it cut through the metal all the way down. They said "we'll replace all the metal". I said no thanks and walked away. I purchased a used AMC Pacer instead. So things do happen.

I'm sure yours is fine. I was just messing with you.

I was the person with sticker thing, but the vinview system is dealer only. They send screenshots.

I texted my salesman and asked what that was...

There was a pothole in front of the gate that kept all the vehicles from leaving for the last couple of weeks. They finally got the road crew to fix it.

I'm curious. Is there another way for the dealer to see that it's 'on the water' besides VINView? @Vishan says his dealer doesn't know what VINView is, so he's apparently referencing something else.

Looks like mine is in Montana. Making progress.
