2024 delivery schedule

2-3 weeks from build date is not accurate at all. They are probably thinking of a U.S. factory. You should figure:
  • 1-2 weeks to ship (from factory) or
  • 1-2 weeks to board ship and depart
  • 2-4 weeks to sail (1 or multiple stops)
  • 1-2 weeks to board autorack on rail
  • 2-3 weeks to arrive at dealer
2-3 months is about right.
Is it possible it could come sooner. Or is that the earliest date. When should I expect mine it was built the 24th of January but it hasn't shipped yet. But it was released from the plant.

The order I gave up on was built 12-22. As of 1-23 it was still sitting at port in China. My guess is your looking at 8-10 weeks for delivery. Swindler may be accurate also. It's all over the place.
Do they ship once a week though, or do they wait and ship a whole load of them every month. How does the shipping work is that why it is taking forever to ship? Can't you pay or request a high priority delivery or something?

They seem to ship 2300 to 2700 at a time. Seems to be every 3-4 weeks. It is what it is. Port congestion, stops alone the way, cross country rail trip and weather. They are in no rush. The one I am waiting on was built 11-22. They project it to be in third week of February. 3 months from build.

That's a long time. The dealer told me a little bit less time than that. It's whatever it'll come when its gonna come anyway.

Do you know when the last one was shipped. When will mine ship roughly?

Hello All,

i originally built my Nautilus on the Lincoln Website the first day available (4/17/2023). I was contacted by my Dealer, Lincoln of Wayne, NJ, on 4/19/2023 and verbally confirmed my desire to purchase the new 2024 Nautilus Black Label. I received a Buyer's Order (Quote) to sign and return. In early summer, I received an email from Lincoln Corporate thanking me for my Order and advising me that I would be receiving updates from them via email as the process proceeded. In late August, I received an email stating that my Nautilus was slated to be built beginning in September. In October I received an email notice that my Nautilus was built and was being Shipped. In one of these emails I received the VIN Number and the ability to Track. Tracking did not work for me and at first, the means of viewing the Window Sticker did not work either, but finally in December, I was able to print the Window Sticker. In late December I received an email stating that within 15 to 30 something days, my Nautilus would be at the Dealership. I contacted my Salesman but he stated that he had not heard of any new Nautilus arrivals. The next week he called me to say that my Nautilus was at Port Newark, NJ, and would be at the dealership soon. Two weeks ago, my Salesman (Ryan Acosta) called me to say that my Nautilus was at the Dealership and was being prepped for Pick Up or Delivery, whichever I wanted. At first I chose to have it Delivered but then thought I've never been to this Dealership (the Dealership where I bought my MKX and other Mercury and Fords, was not a Black Label Dealer) so I chose to go to the Dealership to take Ownership of the new Nautilus. My wife and I went this past Saturday to Pick Up our new Nautilus. I bought it especially for her, but she's almost intimidated by all the new tech, and to some extent, so am I. One of the sales Associates stated that we were their first Sales/Deliveries of a 2024 Nautilus and Lincoln advised them that we might be the first in the US to receive a Customer Ordered 2024 Nautilus. We're enjoying all the new Tech in this Nautilus. Thanks for reading my post. If you're within 50 miles of Wayne, NJ, I'm sure Ryan Acosta would be glad to help you with a Purchase of a Lincoln.

How long did your take from the port to the dealer. And from China to the port?

It took about a week for the Nautilus to go from Port Newark to the Dealership. It took from approximately mid October until the first week of January to go from China to Port Newark, NJ.

Has anyone tried checking with their dealership to get vinview info on their order from the vehicles offloaded from GC?
I’m going to inquire on Wednesday. I just got my car insurance renewal and suddenly I’m not so excited to add a third car.

Did your not go to Portland?

There are just too many variables involved to give an accurate timeframe. In other words, it will be here when it gets here. ;)
This also applies to domestically built vehicles.

That's true. I understood that the demos took forever to get here. But this isn't going to be consistent they are going to have to find a way around it, there are people who won't buy the just because of the wait times. It's been almost a year since they released the car they should've figured out a way to get it to customers sooner. The demo's taking this long is understandable, but they should have figured something out for customers now to get it quicker.

My dealer has around 50 cars listed as in-transit. Instead of ordering a car, find one in their inventory that matches what you want. I took a brief look and I found 3-4 that are very close to what we ordered. You'll be able to receive the car much more quickly than if you order a car.

Ford/Lincoln would have to own the Transport Ships. Otherwise, they're at the mercy of the Shipping Companies with no control over operations.

While the 2024 Nautilus was announced in April 2023 and order banks opened then, production didn't start until September 18, 2023. Even ordering from a vehicle produced in a North American plant won't guarantee the process would be any faster. Customer orders take priority over dealer orders generally.

My dealer now has 4 vehicles on the lot but none are hybrids. There are 59 more in transit. I don't know how many more they have on order now.

@swindler had a great suggestion to contact your dealer and see what they have in transit and to see if they are available. Otherwise, you are going to wait. I chose to order mine so I get exactly what I want.

Good luck!

I tried that, but the only problem is that I ordered a Black Label hybrid with the Jet Appearance package and the Black Label Chromatic color. And I called all the black label dealerships within 400 miles and they all said the same time line that mine will be coming to get this combo or a similar combo. Like they didn't even have a similar one they all gave me the timeline similar to mine and if it's only a matter of weeks/days why not just wait for the one I originally wanted? Yk.
