2024 delivery schedule

I ordered Aug 14. Car built November 5. Shipping scheduled 1 to 7 days

Do you mean Vehicle is scheduled to be on the boat In 1-7 days, in the in US 1-7 days can't believe they mean to the dealer 1-7 days. Just trying to get some idea of from built to dealer.

The message just said it normally takes 1 to 7 days to schedule shipping

This means it will ship from the factory to a port. From there us goes by ship to somewhere on the west coast. Then it will ship by rail or convoy carrier depending on your location in the US. I would expect this process to take several months.

The op's verbage is different than what you typed. Had it been typed that way I would not have a question. I just wanted a clear answer so I would not have to assume.

What it means to me is that in 1 to 7 days I will be told when the vehicle will be shipped

That's the way I read it, Dave. Although "Shipping to be scheduled in 1-7 days" might have been a little clearer. ;)

I'm new here. I ordered a 24 black label hybrid. I figured out the Vin misunderstanding. The first letter/number can be the country that company is headquartered in. The R in the vin slot designates the country of final assembly. R is China.

The R signifies the year of manufacture, wherein R means 2024. The J signifies the plant of manufacture, where J is an assembly plant in Hangzhou, CN.

From the info I've gathered, China is "L". Japan is "J".

I am still waiting to hear about shipping, mine has been built for just over a week. I am wondering why my window sticker is still not ready. Who has been able to see theirs?

The window sticker is usually available about 7-10 days before the build. I don't know if that changed now that it is being manufactured in China.
