my car arrived last week at the dealer, during PDI they realized that my car has a bad APIM. The Screen kept on flickering the entire time. Waiting for new part.

Hi Lincolnguy2. Sorry to hear about the bad APIM. 😱
On the plus side…I’m happy to hear they caught the bad APIM in the Pre Delivery Inspection. 🤗
Sometimes the PDI’s are not performed as efficiently/careful as they should be.

If you are having the new APIM installed before taking delivery, I would recommend you carefully check over the interior/dash area before signing the paperwork, to be sure there are no scratches/damages from the repair.

Let you s know how you make out and good luck.

Good to hear the dealer caught it and hope you get parts soon.

Someone on Facebook posted that Hybrids were being diverted to Detroit for more QC checks but from the above comments about Vger this does not seem to be the case. I could see this after they got off the ship.

Once my vehicle was built, it moved rather quickly. It was only on the water for 12 days. Transport across the states only took a few weeks. I don't believe they are diverting any vehicles at this time. Mine build date got held up due to the hybrid engine fuel injector issue. That was really the only hang up/.

They may just be diverting a sample of vehicles to establish a quality metric — much like JD Power samples a subset of owners. In that scenario, they may only be diverting vehicles that are being transported near Detroit already.

Argh.
The estimated delivery date according to the tracking site for my lincoln is now Sept 1-Sept7,

Still hasn't been updated since Aug 2 though. As far as I know, car is still in Vancouver. Oh the pain of waiting for my car to get on a train....

They probably do not reserve time or want to pay a premium so have to wait for available space.

Just got back from the dealer picking up my Reserve 2 Blue Panther and Truffle interior.
Sales manager said to me as he was showing me how to set up everything, Good Luck, I still can’t figure out how to change the radio station.

Use the steering wheel buttons on right side push either the right or the left side to cycle through stations. You can also use the touch centre screen . Just touch the radio portion to expand and the go to your selections. This is were you set your fav stations.

I wish I had kept track of all my updates.
What I can pass on is that once my car was listed as shipped on 6/5 things moved as has been previously documented here.
When the car reached Portland there were updates every few days. At the time of the redesign of the page the updates were no
farther apart than every other day. At this time the delivery to dealer date was listed as 9/6 to 9/12. A couple of days later it was moved
out to 9/16 to 9/23.
End of story is that it was delivered to dealer yesterday (8/14).
It seems the dealers don't really pay much attention to their ordered cars. With the info on this site, the concierge service and my own
abilities at tracking the last 6 or 7 cars I've ordered, we generally know better where the car is than the dealer does. I would love to see
a little transparency here, this ain't DARPA or rocket science.

Latest update on my car. The last update date is not Aug 15. But according to my dealer, the car now shows a status of "On Rail" but VINVIEW is still showing the car as still in Vancouver. I believe it arrived in Vancouver on Aug 2.

Slowly but surely your nautilus is making its way into Ontario. If it is indeed on rail it should be at the rail yard in Toronto by next Thursday . From there just a few more days to get it on a truck and to your dealer. It should be at your dealer appx August 29.

It would say 'on rail' if it were loaded onto an autorack railcar. It switches to 'on rail' when the vehicle is handed over to the rail carrier. These autorack railcars are queued up in long strings in preparation for a route before the locomotive arrives. In some situations, it can be 2-3 weeks before it departs.

Yeah. According to the estimated delivery time on the tracking page, it says sept 4-10

Called my dealer today. Last update was Aug 15 and the GPS showed it was in Vancouver then. Today no update on the tracking website but according the dealer VINVIEW shows the car just north of Sudbury. It's supposed to head to the railyard in Vaughan then on a truck to Guelph.

At least it's in Ontario....
