2024 delivery schedule

Ordered mine in January and finished building today. How long do you think it will take to ship, then arrive if I'm in Southern Ontario?Car1.webp

Mine was built March 7 and I still do not have it.

I think 3 months has been typical, but not guaranteed. Some have been 4+ months, but usually because of an issue. Mine was 93 days from 'built' to 'at dealer'.

My dealer advised me that mine is scheduled for build the week of May 27 so it is possible it has been built however a vin and order number has not been provided. How did you get this information that yours has been built? Mine will be shipped to Southern Ontario as well.

Most people get their VIN emailed to them by Lincoln when it scheduled to be built. But some aren't 'signed up' or something and have to get the VIN from the dealer.

To use the Vehicle Order Status webpage, you need both the VIN and the dealer-assigned order number.

You have to wait for a VIN to be assigned. Your dealer will let you know when and give you your VIN

Finally found out the status of my 24 order. My order that was placed early April will not be built as the factory is balanced out.
My sales manager is getting a 24 for me that was built last week and waiting shipment. ETA Mid August. Getting Panther Blue / smoked Truffle interior, Hybrid. Reserve 2 . As much as I am going to miss having the summer to keep it clean and pretty, there is a large advantage. Being a late build I will not need to worry about all the service bulletins for injectors and software updates for the Infotainment system.

Question for everyone here . My Nautilus was built on May 9 according to the Lincoln tracking on the website. . Says shipped on May 16, and was invoiced to the dealer on May 30. Does this mean the car left the plant on the 16th, or actually on a ship May 16? Do we know of a ship that corresponds with these dates?
Possibly I will receive it sooner than originally anticipated?
Thx.

Hi Lincolnguy2. “Shipped” traditionally meant the moment it leaves the holding lot, where it was parked when it rolled out the factory doors.

It doesn’t necessarily mean the day it was rolled onto a railcar, transport ship etc.

I’m sure someone will provide more information if the process is different for the imported Nautilus.

Good luck.

This is correct. The Vehicle Order Status does not show when the vehicle was put on a ship, or rail, other than the 'Last Updated' field will change to the current date. (I.e., if the Last Updated field has a later date than the 'Shipped' date, then that indicates further activity with the vehicle.)

The VINView order tracking system available only to employees has more detail, and you could ask for an event record printout or a screen grab of the map that shows your vehicle's location.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say your vehicle is on the Silver Queen, scheduled to arrive in Portland tomorrow.

This ship was in Shanghai 5/19, but made stops in South Korea (as most do). It left South Korea on 5/26. There's something about the S.Korea stops that mess with the dates. We believe some vehicles are even moved from one ship to another in S.Korea. Regardless, this would be a pretty quick turn - if it's true.

A VINView trace would tell us for sure. You could ask your dealer for one. Most will accommodate, but not all.

Hoping you are right. And if not this ship there must be one not very far behind. Thank you.

Silver Queen unloaded 1,126 Nautilus today at Portland. I hope that includes both of yours. I believe that's possible.

Check to see if your 'Last Updated' field changes it's date today or tomorrow. That'll likely tell you if your vehicle was on the Silver Queen.

Thank you Swindler.
I will check it Tomorrow as well as through the week.
As much as I like my 21. I want my new one during the nice summer months to play with it.

How do you know what ship is delivering your Nautilus? Mine was shipped May26-27 to Vancouver destination however I do not know what ship is delivering mine. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi Linc. From what I understand all Nautilus are shipped to Portland for staging then placed on rail to Canadian destinations or US destinations. Mine was shipped as per Lincoln tracking site on May 16. Is appx 4 full weeks on the water due to stops in Korea or elsewhere. Then another 4 weeks for rail etc to dealer. Swindler has a program I am assuming that lets him know when ships leave from the port where the cars are sent to prior the ships.

First off, Portland is only used for U.S. destined vehicles. Vehicles going to Canada are typically imported at Annacis Island (Vancouver). This makes more sense, as the vehicles have to clear customs at the border, so each country receives their own.

But tracking vehicles heading to Canada is much harder.. There's something like 20 times fewer vehicles going to Canada. That means fewer ships, less often, with less online resources for tracing the movement of shipments.

I was lucky with the Silver Queen. There's a website that lists the ships heading to Portland in the next few days. (colrip.com/dispatch-info/dispatch-status/). Berth 601 is used exclusively for the import of vehicles, and while it is used for other car companies as well, is managed by Ford. I saw a ship due in, looked at it's previous port history and saw the pattern that we've seen since we started tracking the first ship in December. It fit the timing as well. Today, I saw the Portland import records as indicating the vehicles originated from Shanghai and that maps to the Nautilus.

I didn't use any software or tools that aren't available to anyone else on the Internet. We have used 'free trial' periods to access more detail on cargo ship traffic, but I haven't since March.

Detecting the arrival is easier. Detecting ships leaving Shanghai that are candidates is much harder. Shanghai is a very busy port and ships out multiple RoRo vehicle carriers every day. And they rarely leave there directly for North America. They usually make multiple stops at other ports in China, in Japan and/or.S Korea first. Eventually, you're juggling a dozen ships trying to figure out which is going where. The online websites do have limited history, so the trail goes cold quickly.

As far as tracking a ship to Annacis Island that departed Shanghai around 5/26-27, I'll look around in the next couple of days, but I can't promise much. 🤞 Once again, I cannot stress more how invaluable a VINView map trace is. We can typically identify the ship with just one snapshot. See if your dealer can provide one.

The whole process of prepping for shipment to deliver would be interesting.
