2024 delivery schedule

For me I did not want a Black Label. Also no moonroof. Wanted a Hybrid.

Turns out a Reserve 1 = no moonroof but a black painted roof for exactly what I wanted.

My vehicle is on it's way to Kansas City then Jacksonville then my dealer.

Silver Sky has been rescheduled to 3/31. I'm not sure if this is a placeholder until an opening appears, or if they'll actually have it wait for two weeks. Portland is currently it's next scheduled stop, and it's no more than a day away.

The Lincoln order tracking website updated to shipped on 3/4/2024 and now has a last updated date of 3/14/2024 with the same status of "shipped." Does that tell me anything about what ship it is on that I can track?

Sorta. Based on your update, it's likely your car was loaded onto a ship on 3/14. So you'd be looking for a vehicles carrier that was last in Shanghai (or area ports) on 3/14. So you'd be looking for 3/14 or 3/15 departure. But since it's now been more than 24 hours it may be necessary to pay a subscription fee to narrow down the ships at this juncture. I was able to scout out a couple ships for you but that is as far as I'm willing to go.

One possibility is the HOEGH KOBE which left Shanghai on 3/15 but doesn't fit the profile since that is a different carrier. Another possibility is the NEPTUNE BARCELONA as it left on the 14th.

Until your ship actually heads to Portland or you get a Vinview with more info, all we can do is guess. What we'd need is a Vinview with either shipname or map detailed enough that we can overlay it with a map of vessels and pick the corresponding one.

Thank you. I appreciate your time. I asked my dealer what Vinview showed after the 3/14/2024 update but his answer was "Nothing yet, I will let you know when I get a better idea." Who knows with him. That's actually a long response from him. Normally I don't even get complete sentences!

The dealers, as a whole, have been worse than useless in this process overall. Mine was good once I got to the right person and they learned vinview.

I'd wait till Friday then go down to the dealer and ask to see it in person.

Hey Swindler have you already taken delivery of your vehicle?
Yes, 3/6. Very nice so far. We see software bugs mainly, but I'm not concerned.

I've only been in it a couple of times though. I'm waiting on a long trip so I can really play with it. My wife won't let me go in there and tinker with it without her. 🙁

Silver Sky is sitting anchored only about 1 NM from berth 601 and is scheduled to be tugged there tomorrow, 3/20. We're expecting some Nautilus goodness.

Just FYI for @jeffcarp or whoever may have the time, (and I do mean time), marinetraffic.com offers 7-day free trials, sometimes even at their Professional Plus level. I've done a free trial 3 times now *ahem* and once you learn the search mechanics you can find quite a bit. I've done free trials on a couple of others, but this one I repeated. But as @agogley says, you're still guessing until you have a VINView.

Have you driven it much at night yet, what would you rate the ambient lighting in there during the day and at night? In the picture it seems as that car doesn't have good ambient lighting? But that could just be the photos too?

How can I know when my car leaves the port after it arrives, how do I know it''s cleared customs and left the rail car.
First you need confirmation from your dealer's vinview showing something like the first picture. Then once you have this, you need the railcar info from this by them clicking on the plus and it's listed as trailernumber as in the second pic. Once you have it you run traces using Norfolk Southern's trace:
To track Norfolk Southern

• Call 800-635-5768, wait for prompts
• Press 2 for Intermodal
• Press 2 for Tracing
• Enter the letters on the numeric keypad using T9 method. E.g., TTGX would be 8849
• Enter the number portion, then press 1 to confirm.

You should get a voice response. If they transfer to a rep, hang up.

Sounds familiar. My vehicle was enroute to KC about a week ago,
Florida as well, east coast.

The concern I have is if vehicle ends up in Orlando as opposed to being trucked from Jacksonville. Orlando is where vehicle deliveries go to die.

They don't die, they're just repurposed. I've heard they've been looking for a new Nautilus for the Disney World 20,000 Leagues ride.

I live in Ocala area. What does "Orlando is where vehicle deliveries go to die." mean? Most of my mail and shipping comes from JAX but there are items that get delivered from Orlando. I have never purchased a vehicle for delivery to Ocala before so I'm not sure where it will go before getting here. Having said that, this statement disturbs me greatly without an explanation.

The sun was setting when we drove it home from the dealer, but I was immursed in the screen then. Since that day, I've only been in it three times riding to PT during the day. My recollection is that it seemed more like accent lighting than ambient lighting, if you know what I mean. But I'll be sure to take better note of it the next time we drive at night. That might be a while.

How would you compare it to Mercedes's Ambient lighting. Like if you look at Mercedes's ambient lighting at night and then Lincoln's which one would you say is brighter and letter looking how would you compare it?
