2024 delivery schedule

OK thanks. I was starting to get suspicious that it's not really accurate because on here my car shows built 1/24. But when my dealer called me he told me it was 1/23. And he sent me a screenshot.
That could simply be the time zones. Shanghai is 16 hours ahead of Portland. Events like 'built' on the tracking site are typically referenced to local time. In Shanghai, it could have been the 24th already, while it was still the 23rd in the U.S.

My family ordered two Black Labels on the same day April 22, 2023. Both orders submitted and accepted within minutes of each other. Both built late October and shipped late November. The first was delivered by the dealer Jan. 13, 2024. The other one only arrived yesterday Feb. 7. That implies there may be a backlog of overland rail transit and car haulers for two cars built almost the same day to arrive at the dealer over 3 weeks apart. My salesperson never bothered to keep me updated on the status of why there was such a wide disparity in delivery dates.

Speaking of deliveries, @Gary-L posted this VINView last Friday as the next ship coming out. I had missed this at the time. I don't know where he got this as his ship was the Chorus. I thought it was an old track initially. But I looked at it again with the intent that it was a new ship.

This trace seemed to have the more traditional route of stopping off in Korea a few places first, before heading across the Pacific. There's quite a few ships that departed around this time, but I only found one that fit this trace well.

I believe this ship is the Glovis Countess, although I'm not 100% certain. It's back-track matches very well. It even has the slight arc upward during it's departure passed Japan. It was in Shanghai on 1/17 which seems reasonable.

The only bad-fit element is that this ship is headed to Richmond (San Francisco), not Portland. We know that there are more vehicles on these carriers than just Lincolns, so stopping at another port still makes some sense. We'll have to wait and see if it turns upward to Portland after leaving Richmond.

I just got my VIN from the Lincoln Concierge. I hadn't heard anything from my dealer and hadn't gotten any updates from Lincoln by email either. However Lincoln's online order tracking website says that the build has been completed and that it's being sent to the dealer. That update was 2/4/2024.

How much more will I get from that website in terms of status / progress? What should I expect for timing from here? 90 days?

90 days is probably good for budgeting your expectation. We're hoping to get timing closer to 60 days, but it's just not there. My vehicle is 62 days from 'Shipped' and is sitting in a lot in Portland (the U.S. import site for all Nautilus') I should be under 90 days, but not by very much.

The website offers very little from here on. Your best bet is to ask your dealer for a VINView track, which shows your vehicle's location after it leaves the factory. Look through the thread and you'll see many examples. Also, watch the 'Last updated' date under the VIN on the order tracking site. It updates for events like boarding the ship, so you'll get an indication something happened.

Also, it's helpful for everyone in the forum if you post a VINView track once on the water. That helps us determine what ships are carrying vehicles so they can be tracked during the 2-3 weeks it takes to cross the Pacific.

Good info. I'll keep an eye on the tracking website and then try to get in touch with my dealer to request a VINView when it changes. Unfortunately my dealer isn't a very good emailer. He's one of those "all lowercase, no punctuation, incomplete and/or run-on sentences" kind of an emailer. I wish I had another way to access VINView.

Ask to speak to a sales manager to request it, that's what I do if my salesman isn't there.

Usually 0 miles to empty means you have just a bit of distance before you’re SOL. These things are more accurate than most before. ZERO to empty means just that. Like it’s gonna shut off soon. Happened twice to me already. Just a public advertisement. Zero doesn’t mean you got a few miles left. Don’t be that guy which I was:)

Is this a Delivery thing? Is this something we should look for at delivery time?

Nothing to look for. I just don’t think they have as much of a built in gap when it says zero as other cars do is all. Of course it’s not wise to test it but sometimes it is what it is and cars wind up on the lot with 0 to go. Gas is just down the street. Twice I didn’t make it. Don’t ask why we don’t put some in beforehand. That’s an old gripe.

Okay, thanks for the extra info. I was wondering if it was a Delivery issue because you posted it in the Delivery Schedule thread.

I believe the last status on my 2023 Aviator was Final Prep, or something similar, which meant it was at the dealership.

First time we had a car with a "miles to empty" feature I told my wife that digital is more accurate. You could trust that if it said 40 miles, you had at least 30 miles in the tank.

Then one day she told me about her walking 2 miles in 95° heat in her business outfit to buy a gas can and then walking back to fill her car that ran dry at 40 miles to empty.

It was not a friendly story.

I'll bet you caught it for that one.

Hey guys, I am very confused hopefully one of you guys have an answer. So my car has been showing shipped since 1/31/24, and the date hasn't moved since then. That is the shipped date and also the last updated date for my vehicle. My Lincoln Sales Manager is telling me that the vehicle has left China, it was shipped and is on the water to come to Portland. But my window sticker still isn't available and I thought I had read in here that is is available once the car is put onto the vessel, but my salesman is saying that my website was updated late the car was released and shipped before the 31st which is why the date is staying the same and not moving. He also said by latest late March I'll have my car maybe even sooner but latest 25 March. So am I missing something here what's going on.

Also what is the owner registration button on the Lincoln tracking website are you supposed to do that before the vehicle comes or something.
