When my car is parked and off, every 30 seconds it makes a loud clicking from under hood. Is this because key detection? My motion sensors are off along with all telem and wifi. Even if key fob is in house i can hear it clicking from my living room! What gives?

Yes its normal. And yes its because of key fob detection. When the vehicle detects your keys, it "wakes up" and when that happens a series of events occur to prepare the engine for starting. Newer vehicles are much more advanced than older ones. Alot goes on electronically.

Mine also does the same. The wife refers to it as a "woodpecker" noise. Its short, but rapid clicking.

Ours makes a variety of sounds. But @Hanyol0, you might want to try the Navigator forum as there will be more active users with your vehicle. This is the Nautilus/MKX forum.
